Sony won last gen, provided you take out all the braindead soccer moms who bought into a fad and then never played the system. They just palyed Wii Bowling in their geriatric homes, along with their toddler children.

Like all PlayStation® systems, the PS3 had the highest variety, quality, and sales last gen. No other system will ever compete.

The only thing that is ascending is the price for a subscription to PS Plus. Though, it must be worth it for the great games we get for free such as Gone Home and NBA 2K16.

You're lucky you're paying so little for all the content you get. You should be even more grateful that Sony's online was even free last gen, which no other system offers. Unlike Xbox, which charges a disgusting $60/yr for basic online.

Unfortunately, free online is an unsustainable business model, as Nintendo continues to learn the hard way. Besides, PlayStation® deserves your support.

Sony profits massively off of PlayStation®, and that included with the PS3. They lost money because unlike filthy toymakers, they care about quality first and were willing to take a loss last gen to make gamers happy.

Which is still more than a great deal for the utter value on offer. You ought to be paying even more, but Sony's a fair merchant.

Microsoft charging $60 for online is a ludicrous price. It truly highlights their greed.

Sony has hardware geniuses behind their systems. They create technology that is years ahead of its time that no one else has even thought of, all for the purposes of our quality entertainment.

Nintendo wouldn't even be able to make their systems as powerful as Sony systems. They're not strong enough to do so. Four generations in a row of vastly weaker systems compared to PlayStation® systems proved that.
