Hotline Miami 1+2
def start with Hotline Miami 1, its real fun and has such good music. Can't play it too long at a time tho. I also remember enjoying Nier back then, but it was a bit grindy (?)
Fran Bow
Metro 2033
Underrail
Grim Fandango
Legend of Grimlock
System Shock 2
Mario 1
Sonic 1
Legend of Zelda
Pac Man
Final Fantasy VII
I've never finished a video game before.
Bioshock 2 (again)
Finish A+ ranks in Hotline Miami 2
GTA San Andreas
Yakuza 1 HD
Pokemon Omega Ruby
Grim Fandango for sure
Sonic 1
Are there any games that have the earth hollow like it really is?
Finish MGS2 (haven't started the main game, I'm playing the VR missions first)
Deux Ex MD
Life is Strange
GTA V
Batman AO
SMT: Nocturne
Ys: II
Deus Ex
Ikaruga
LISA
MGS2
Have played at least a few hours of all the installed ones
Dishonored
Grim Fandango
Mario
GTA SA
knights or the old republic get on it
SMT
Dragon Quest V
Front Mission
Final Fantasy IV
I Am Setsuna
Rise of the Tomb Raider
I have too large of a backlog for that to even make a meaningful dent, so we'll do it this way. My Vita's charger is currently misplaced and I'm playing through Fate/Extra, but which portable system should I focus on clearing out my library on?
PSP, after I finish up Fate/Extra, I can dig out and play through some games like Patapon, Jeanne d'Arc, Popolocrois, Tactics Ogre, and that R-Type strategy game.
DS, where I can finish up Bowser's Inside Story, and just work through the stupid amount of games like the last Professor Layton, Rune Factory 3, several Dragon Quest, and whatever else I've forgotten I even pick up for it.
3DS, and work through my backlog like Hometown Story, Story of Seasons, Rune Factory 4, Legend of Legacy, complete Puzzle & Dragons Z, and finish up all those demos and free digital games.
One of three choices. So which will it be?
Nier for sure
System Shock 2
DS > 3DS > PSP
DS's library is one of the best in vidya.
Played it on console back in the day, same for
>ME
>MGR
>Sonic
Disgaea 5
Final Fantasy 8
Stardew Valley
Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator
Subnautica
DMC 4
Rogue Legacy
Sonic 1 would probably be the easiest to complete. If you just become done with the game, look up the cheat code where you can become a ring and just fly through each area, including the Chaos Emerald areas, invincible. It's cheap, but fun to kill the end bosses with Super Sonic.
After that, either Zelda or Final Fantasy 7. That depends on if you are more interested in puzzles (Zelda) or a long RPG (FF7).
>handheld having the best library
lol holy fucking shit are you serious?
DMC4
It's relatively faster to playthrough than the other ones which probably have a tone of grind, except for Guilty Gear
FF8
Yes, I am unironically serious.
There are a lot of amazing Jrpgs and adventure games on the DS and it has exclusives like SMT:Strange Journey and Dragon Quest 9.
do i need to play system shock 1 first? I only got the second
>Persona 3
>Persona 4
>SMT: Nocturne
>Xenoblade Chronicles X
>Valkyria Chronicles
>E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy
>Wasteland 2
>Dark Messiah of Might and Magic
>LISA
>Pillars of Eternity
Which Front Mission?
I Am Setsuna is apparently a rather short game, so finish that one up first. Swap over to Tomb Raider when you get sick of turn-based RPGs and want a bit of a break.
DMC4 would be my top choice in that list. Stardew Valley is fun too, although that will chew up a lot of your time to complete.
Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE
Lollipop Chainsaw
Deus Ex Human Revolution
Zombi U
The Darkness II
LoZ: Oracle of Seasons/Ages
LoZ: The Minish Cap
LoZ: Spirit Tracks
Paper Mario 64
Red Rescue Team
Star Fox Adventures (only one I haven't tried)
Okamiden
Jade Empire
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
Metroid Fusion
Einhänder*
Super Robot Wars GC
Sonic Heroes
Jak and Daxter*
Ratchet and Clank or Going Commando*
* Indicates games I played as a child but remember little about and would like to replay.
Legend of Zelda
SMT: Nocturne assuming you've played previous SMT games, LISA if not
KOTOR for sure
F.E.A.R.
Bioshock
Jet Set radio
Amnesia the Dark Descent
A story about my uncle
Either Red Rescue Team or Path of Radiance. Blue Rescue team's better though, if you haven't played it for some reason.
Quite the list. I'd probably recommend Valkyria Chronicles first, if only because its well done and fairly different.
Paper Mario 64
Aeon Flux
Red Ninja
Death By Degrees
Lupin the 3rd: Treasure of the Sorcerer King
Cy Girls
Final Fantasy 12
Okami
Nocturne, though Ys is a badass series.
i love metroid fusion.. may be my fav desu
LISA is really great. Its a bit of a struggle at the start and has some backtracking, but the humor is amazing and it really pulled me in. It gets alot better when you start getting loads of party members. "El Topo" as a game.
I liked POE just because i craved for some modern Baldurs Gate 2 and thats exactly what it is, just not on the same level.
This is my backlog and is also a list of all series I need to play in my lifetime. What should I play first?
lollipop chainsaw is short and fun i guess, get it out of the way. the darkness 2 is the only other game there i've played and i enjoyed it a lot, but it's better if you've played 1 beforehand. pick one of the two i guess
What's the difference between RRT and BRT? The only reason that I selected RRT is that my GBA emulator works more smoothly than my DS emulator.
Noted, appreciated.
Jet Set Radio for the style, and then F.E.A.R.
>pastebin.com
>Etrian Odyssey games (4 is the only one you should play, rest are good but this is the best; Dungeon Crawling)
>4 is best
It's either 3 or 2 Untold, depending on how much you like polish for your games. 4's piss easy, has shit dungeons, and no FM synth music.
DOOM
I Am Setsuna
Final Fantasy X
Stella Glow
Digimon Cyber Sleuth
I like jrpgs but I can never play them all the way through
>several Dragon Quest
Those games are always long and you will get tired of the series if you play 2 in arrow. Just take a break and play other shit after a DQ
But yeah, Ds
luigi's mansion, skip dark moon, then chibi, then sonic
Magicka
Rack N Ruin
Children of the Nile
Banished
Valley Without Wind
Empiryon
Dark Crusade/Soulstorm campaign
Dragon Age 2
Geometry Wars 3
Expeditions Conquistador
Hotline Miami
System Shock 2
Final Fantasy
Pokemon Omega Ruby
Batman AO
Ys:II
Mirror's Edge
Dragon Quest
DMC 4
EYE
The Darkness 2 or if you don't want to be depressed Deus Ex
Okami
Binary Domain
Blue has better graphics and sound quality, if memory serves. It's honestly not that big of a deal, but BRT has a lot of small things that put it over RRT in my opinion.
[PROTOTYPE]
Godhand
DMC 1 2 & 3
Dragon's Dogma
Bloodborne
The Warriors
Saint's Row 2
Splatterhouse reboot
I've played them all before but I haven't gotten any new games in awhile, plus I haven't played some of them in awhile. I'll just start a new game in whatever you pick.
Thanks, I'll see what I can do about it then. Is it similar to the difference between EoT/EoD versus EoS?
No, there's not an objectively superior version for RRT/BRT like there was for EoT/EoD.
DOOM
i dunno but do whatever you can to delay playing DA2
I have over 400 game sitting behind me
I don't even remember the last game I beat.
did this artist do more? It actually looks like the realistic pokemon style should, instead of the "real" style many use that just makes them loose the cartoony edge and look stupid
I have already played it a few times, I like the combat for some reason. Also it's heavily modded so there's that.
Alice: Madness Returns
Alpha Protocal
Dues Ex: HR
FFXIII
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
Metro 2033
Sonic Generations
The Talos Principle

I have so much shit in my backlog it's retarded to think of all the money I've spent on video games and realize how few of them I have played.
Hitman blood money
Ziggurat
rfactor 2
portal 2
alien isolation
Alright lets go. I don't know if rfactor really counts as "backlog" since you can't finish it I guess. Whatever

MGS: Peace Walker
SMT: Nocturne
DBZ: Budokai 3
Dark Souls
MGR: Revengence
Alan wake
Neptunia
L.A. Noir
Soma
Dark souls
3 for nier, nier it is

FF4
>no (you)s
that's ok i'll just roll for one
>1 for [PROTOTYPE]
>2 for GH
>3 for DMC
>4 for DMC2
>5 for DMC3
>6 for DD
>7 for BB
>8 for Warriors
>9 for SR2
>0 for Splatterhouse
Castlevania: OoE
Soul Sacrifice Delta
Kindom Hearts: DDD
SMT: Devil Survivor
RE: 0
Fatal Frame
Neptunia Re;Birth 2
Persona 4.
Valkyria Chronicles
MGR, it's not that long anyways
Valkyria Chronicles is fun and doesn't take too long. Really easy to get through once you get started.
Also, as someone who played through demon gaze in it's entirety, def should be lower on the list on what to play. It was not so good.
SMT
Alan Wake
Odin Sphere
Neptunia is objectively the best game on that list
>FE 14
Utter disappointment for every route not named Conquest, and even that's iffy at best, and only good for the gameplay.
>Super Mystery Dungeon
Balance is fucked, either too easy or ballbustingly difficult.
>DeSu 2
Depends on what endings you still need. If it's the Anguished One's, then go ahead, but none of them are really top-tier.
Persona
VC or Dark Souls
VC
MGS/R if you've played the previous games, Dark Souls if not
Souls
Lollipop Chainsaw is fun and short. TMS was actually really enjoyable and not terribly long for a JRPG. If you feel like sitting down and dungeon crawling for a while, play TMS.
>8
sweet, i was scared i'd end up with splatterhouse. i used to really like it but something changed and now it's the shittiest thing on the list, yes that means worse than DMC2
don't listen to this loser
Persona 4 (Golden)
>FE14
That's honestly why I'm having such a hard time getting through it. I've played every other FE game since 6 and I'm struggling to motivate myself to play it. I started with birthright, was so disappointed in it that conquest can't really make up for it.
>DESU2
I think that's one of the ones I need? Not sure, haven't touched it in a while because I liked the characters of 1 a lot more.
Might go with that. Was in the middle of mercedes' route but had a bunch of stuff come up that I put it off for because I didn't like the way she handled. I've heard the ones after her are better.
Suikoden 2
Rebel Galaxy
Undertale
Walking Dead season 1
Bloodborne
Pokemon Uranium
reading next Horus Heresy book
DMC1
Castlevania
>Alan Wake
>Neptunia is objectively the best game on that list
I'm getting mixed answers here lads
the best game there is probably dark souls, but alan wake is worth at least one playthrough. neptuina is bottom of the barrel garbage, not even the best weeb fanservice games, it can be disregarded.
Alan Wake, then Soma, then LA Noire then Dark Souls.
I'm nearing the end of Conquest on Hard, and the gameplay, while it's the best in the game, is far from perfect. Shit like Iron and Steel weapons basically being the only weapons you'll use and forge for most of the game due to the shit debuffs on almost every higher ranked weapon fucking sucks. Fuck, I think I'm actually using Iron and Steel weapons more than I ever did in FE, bravo IS.
Only two chapters in Conquest that've given me a hard time so far was Chapter 10 and Chapter 17(?), whatever the ninja rape cave was, and even that was mostly keeping Saizou alive all for a single shitty Speedwing too, dammit.
And then neptunia after those, right?
999
Dark Souls 2
The Witcher II
Getting Diamond in League
Completing my finals
Being more in touch with family
Losing weight
Finding a gf
Medal of Honor European Assault (xbox)
Condemned 2 Bloodshot (xbox 360)
Borderlands 2 (xbox 360)
Star Fox Adventures (gc)
Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess (gc)
Need for Speed Shift (xbox 360)
Forza Horizon (xbox 360)
Metal Gear Solid 4 (ps3)
Resident Evil 0 (gc)
Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness (gc)
999 is the best option on the list, honestly.
You can literally lose weight while doing all of those. Just eat less. Look up how many calories a day you need to lose weight and stick to it strictly. You can literally do nothing all day and lose weight
Pillars of Eternity
Morrowind
The Wolf Among Us
Sam and Max (all of them)
Dragon's Dogma
Dragon Age CISquisition
Final Fantasy IX
Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. Try to get the HD remake though, since it fixes quite a few of the issues with the filler between the very solid dungeons. The only main remaining issue is the loading screens, but they're pretty quick.
Otherwise, MGS4.
999
Front Mission for SNES with a fan translation,
Not him but is 999 like a visual novel or something? I tried it once but I got turned off by the gameplay at the beginning.
Stop drinking soda and that's a free 10-15 pound loss in a month user. Also 999.
BloodBorne, there was something about Suikoden 2 but I cant remember.
and remember to play the DLC too which are included in the PC version.
eeh, I dunno, is not because I dont like weeb games, I do, I could reccommend some, but well I would if I really dont have anything to play, but that's only for Neptunia.
NEIN! NEIN! NEIN!
If you played the other MGS, then is not even a question, Borderlands 2 if you can get a friend for online or splitscreen, Condemned 2 if is night and you are alone, Medal of Honor if you dont mind the GRAFICS and hitch for WW2 shootan.
the wolf among us is short and entertaining
then ff9, dragons dogma and POE imo.
>Tfw can't mention heavily store based games/VNs because there's always some autist who spoils them
Pillars for a game like Baldur's, Morrowind for an RPG where you can fuck up and that has lots of actual RPG stuff in it, Dragon's Dogma for gameplay, Dragon Age 3 is good, I forgot about FFIX.
