All the ports of Doom 1/2 were dogshit compared to the PC originals.

DOOM 64 isn't a port but a brand new doom with re-done sprites and it's usually considered the real DOOM 3. If you haven't played it, you fucking should and better yet someone rebuilt it to run native on PC so google that shit and get to killing.

Doom 64 out in 97

Non pc owners can play the first non shit port of Doom, but at a time where much better things are out.

I guess I'd of have to be aware of it to appreciate it, but I might not have because I had a PC since 1990 and got to play Doom 1 when it was shareware and then retail, as well as 2.

But by the time D64 was out I was playing much better games like Quake 1, and then Unreal/Quake 2 1 year later.

I probably could still have appreciated Doom 64 though, never knew it existed until a few years ago, I think. I may have just dismissed it back then since I played it on PC years before.

There is a flea market near my house that has tons of ham though, could probably pick up all the good ones for cheap.

A must have for any N64 owner.

I think the DS iterations had various colors, and Vita did (only in Japan).

Almost shelled out some $200 for an orange Vita until I remembered I'm poor. So I just got a standard one instead for $60 or so.
