A couple weeks before Persona 5. Hey, at least PC users won't completely miss out on good JRPGs in 2017.
yeah, pretty good
At least PC users won't miss out on the best video game of the decade.
What's the point when you can emulate Disgaea 1/2 on a phone, and Disgaea 3 on a decent PC? Just skip to porting 3/4/D2/5.
>Taking this long to port a fucking PSP game
Holy fuck, NISA is filled with retards.
They're doing it on purpose. They want to milk this shit for as long as possible, as opposed to quickly releasing the newer games (since people wouldn't buy the older ones if they did that). They're also holding the games hostage, in that they said sequels will only come if the previous games sell.
More characters than any previously released Western version, and higher res menus and character portraits.
They only just recently started porting games, and its not like this is the only game they're porting. They've put out a game on PC almost every month this year. Besides this, they're also working on porting Yomawari: Night Alone, Criminal Girls, and The Longest Five Minutes. They don't have infinite workers
sonyggers got btfo

Last I checked all they added to D1 were the DS characters, which are bumfuck useless in the grand scheme of things when you have a ton of units to select from already.
That, and a couple of characters and a few menus you can upscale in PPSSPP do not merit the $30 pricetag.
I was referring to Disgaea 2, which is getting Dark Eclair, Gig, and Miabel.
My point still stands. There's no point in a few useless DLC characters when you already have a vast selection to choose from. If they were selling this for $10 with all the DLC included, then it might be somewhat OK. However, taking ages to port ancient games AND charging $30 for them is absurd. At this rate, we'll be waiting until 2021 to get Disgaea 5.
>$30
Where are you getting that price from?
>More characters than any previously released Western version, and higher res menus and character portraits.
You mean the ones they skipped out on the localization for no reason and fucked up Disgaea 2's DLC because they are incompetent?
>They don't have infinite workers
Yeah, gotta dedicate time to make the game as unplayable as possible.
Disgaea 1 was originally listed for $30 before people bitched at NISA, and then it was lowered to $20. It'll probably be closer to $20, but that's still too expensive for a game anyone and their mother can emulate.
I'll take it all back though if their next port is the PS3 Disgaea collection (3/4/D2 in one bundle). If they have the gall to try to sell them individually when the PS3 copy can be bought for $20 with all 3, they're getting shit on.

Oh they do. And their other games in there somewhere if Phantom Brave is anything to go by.
WHERE'S SOUL NOMAD, NISA?
Maybe after Disgaea 2.
>inb4 they just port the other Disgaeas and maybe Makai Kingdom
The fact that SN is the only pre-Gen7 Nippon Ichi game to not get a Vita/PSP port worries me
Why didn't it get one anyway? Was sales for it not very good?
I really don't know. Japanese popularity polls showed that it was in moderately high demand (third only to Makai Kingdom, which got on PSP, and Disgaea 3, which got on Vita)
this
What if NISA censors the Demon Path?
