I had bought the Resurrection on the Vita so I was debating picking up RB on it as well or just going with the Steam Version.

But I figure I can knock out Steam's Resurrection in about 30 hours now that I know how to fight Blitz and Pink Pita and know what gear I'll want at end game.

Just finished Burst's storyline. Wanna jump in on Resurrection's but don't wanna do all those free missions.
How do you guys manage between free missions and story missions?

Ignore free missions unless you need upgrade materials for them. You'll want to get to D14 asap so you can start farming compound cores, the items you need to max out your weapons.

VITA versions are sold separately. Resurrection VITA version had some framerate hickups when fighting Borg Calamans in the Electrical Grid and I don't know how Rage Burst will fare.

I preordered the steam version a while back. I've been wanting to try out the series after the Project X Zone games.

Lindow fits with almost all the cast because of his arm and attitude. Loved it plus he is the idea of what I was going to make before I found out about him.

First game is a half-baked Monster Hunter game with anime story. The second one is fucking amazing in every aspect.

Vita, you are locked at 30 fps with the ps4 version and is pretty pointless to pick it up for better looks. I'm getting the steam version but if any of you sony guys is going to get it, I highly recommend it on the vita over PS4, paid online is also a thing while on vita it isnt, I think.

Blood Rage is geat for the feeling it gives when you activate it. But generally I enjoy the other BGMs more.

Just a special power-up only the MC can use. There are a bunch of conditions to use it but it gives you a bunch of buffs like increased attack, infinite dash and stamina, and invincibility.

It did a good job of world building, you almost forget GE takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting.

The anime had the problem that they ran into schedule problems and had to drop like half of it, and it was a big mess. Still actually pretty cool and the last 3 eps were really hype, specially with the Super God Arc and the flashback arc to Lenka.

No God Eater is still super popular. The anime was basically an original retelling of the first 1/3 of the original storyline. Yuu is still boning Alisa in all the other official media like the manga. Also I'm pretty sure people bought the BDs solely for the photoshooting minigame they bundled along with it.
The anime also has a shit ton of production issues.

The anime was a real shame. All that damn budget, and they even got ufotable on it, wasted for absolute nothing. Who knew throwing money on something wouldnt make it good? The new MC was boring as fuck and the story went nowhere. At least it gave more NTR doujins for Alisa.

Bamco and ufotable are always in bed together so it was nothing for them.

I actually liked the new MC and the backstory they gave him, it actually helped the world feel more fleshed out and brought up the post-apoc feeling that kinda was missing from the games.

I really don't understand the logic of not using Yuu as the main protag when they used him for all the other official merchandise.

It's one thing if he was just a silent protag, but they did give him more of a personality with official merch and always used his default appearance. So people being mad because he is not their customization protag doesn't make sense if that's the reason you used Lenka as a means of way of having someone to use for crossover material.

Did you fly into a rage when P3-kun's name changed? Nothing stops you just assuming Lenka is a customized Yuu, which the updated game confirms for you anyway.

I don't really care for self-insert protags. I'm just wondering why they even bother to characterize Yuu if they are not going to use it for anything outside the manga/LN.

It's because, when you license something for secondary materials like novels or comics or anime, those creators have to have leeway to make up characterization too. They're all just someone's donut steel version of the blank slate self-insert that lives in the source material. The MC's lack of any kind of real canonical backstory or motive is a problem if you're trying to tell the early story, so that's probably why they made one up.

You get both of their games together on PC anyways.

You have to play one first, and sadly Alisa's game is the one I am going to focus on first. That means I won't have people to play with by the time I get to GE2

You can get through Resurrection fairly quickly. The only real roadblocks are your first Diaus Pita, Blitz Hannibal and Arius Nova.

Pita will probably be hell, specially since I don't remember how to make cool bullets like before.

I haven't had much luck with bullets other than some multi-hit laser setups I found online. Most of the really OP bullets have to be fired out of Cannons with multiple Oracle reserves.

Didn't they improve Canons so they give you more Oracle reserves or something, I remember an user talking about that a few threads ago.

It's not like you need anything more when you have god lasers. As long as you have trigger happy and the appropriate setup to recover all your oracle with a devour, you don't have to spend time building reserves.

The only thing the removed was the blood splatter effect on screen when a devour connects. They had to get rid of it so Resurrection and Blood Rage had the same rating and could be bundled together.

The actually added a scene where Shio gropes Alisa's tits, which was removed from Burst.

That is so horrible, why would someone do that? A Kanon who doesn't shoot you in the back is not cute.
