There were several more I can't be assed to remember, including the latest revision launched when the Xboner came out. Some of them definitely run better than others. Pre Vejle 360s were all a shitshow, a dozen different combinations of CPU and GPU heat sinks.
The PS3 had at least 4 revisions that I know of.
Slim models and major hardware changes are nothing new.
