If it's been a really long time you haven't played the game though, just download the latest pre-installed batch made by Koreans on nyaa, saves an incredible amount of time. With some fiddling you can force the English translation for it too.

The time between AA and AA2 being released was 3 years. If they're consistent, we'll probably be seeing AA3 sometime during the summer of next year.

They are not an AAA developer so they have to pump out pet projects assigned to their young developers so they can fund big projects like Artificial Academy 2, the porn industry is not exactly bustling with sales especially since they do not ship outside of Japan.
