What's your favorite game? ITT post art, videos, music, memories, whatever you want, about your favorite video games. Doesn't matter what game it is because it's YOUR favorite. I've got a lot, so I'm just gonna dump some art from the games I love.
What are your favorites? Keep shitposting to zero and don't bother engaging ignorants.
Do you guys remember video stores? Ma used to take me when I was a kid so I could rent a tape and a video game. One of the first games I rented was A Link to the Past, and I played on some other kid's save file. I thought that opened treasure chests were actually TV sets.
This might sound a little crazy, but I absolutely love Xenoblade Chronicles X and I think it will be my favorite 8th gen game when all is said and done.
I'll have to wait and see, though.
Nathaniel Myers
It does sound crazy because the game was pretty bad. The Wii game was a lot better, sadly.
William Mitchell
Definitely agree with the love for XCX. I think it has the best realization of the open world in recent memory. I absolutely love how you actually feel like a stranger in a foreign land and how there are creatures the size of skyscrapers who can look down and one shot you if you wander too close. It's one of the only games that my wife couldn't put down for the duration, and she was never much into JRPGs. Really hoping Monolith's help with BOTW helps make that world even better than it'd be without them. Love XCX.
I disagree on that point. I enjoyed my time with XC, but I think X really expanded on its promise to deliver a great world to explore in, thanks to the Wii U being more powerful than the original Wii hardware. XC did have a stronger story, but my main draw to the series was the combat and the exploration, both of which I think got handled much better by its sequel.

They were very different games. I went through the initial disappointment phase of it not being like it's predecessor, but if you can get over that and let it stand on it's own merits, it's seriously good.
But as I said, I know it sounds crazy for people who weren't able to do that.

The video description says 1997 apparently. I played the psp version and had some issues because it had trouble reading umds. The game would freeze sometimes unless I really squeezed down on the hatch. It was weird but I eventually beat the game and really enjoyed it.
Jeremiah Collins
I really love Titanfall, probably one of my favorite games of all time.
Brayden Stewart
Is it active on XBO, or do you play on PC? They were selling it at my Walmart for $15 new the other day. My PC's too old to run it.
William Williams
And despite being different, I had a ton of fun in TF2, so I'm a happy guy right about now.
William Cook
Did they put a beta for 2 out on XBO?
Jordan Ramirez
It's pretty active on Xbone, but also tightly knit. Everyone good knows everyone else who's good. 70% of my friends on ths Xbone probably come from that game.
Joshua Lopez
Yeah. It is subtly different in so many ways ans very different in a few ways. But I got used to it pretty quickly and resumed to be the best.
Jason Perry
quake and tf2 are my fav multiplayer shooters of all time
Metroid Prime is my all-time favorite and will probably stay that way. The atmosphere and immersive world left a huge impact on me when I was younger. I remember I had to stop playing the first time I encountered a Metroid because seeing them latch onto your face in first-person freaked me out so much.
This is my #2. I played it for the first time last year and it blew me away. I adore Yoshida's artwork.

Don't have a clue but I love the shit out of link's awakening

Bar non. This game is one of the most amazing things gaming ever brought to world.

youtu.be/iVW31pDBSMM As flawed as it is, it'll remain as my favorite game ever. Shit combat and everything, spent over 500 hours with it.
Aiden Watson
Love Metroid Prime. I remember seeing it demoed back at Best Buy and being just blown away by how much graphics had evolved. I didn't own a Gamecube and that demo stuck with me and prompted me to ask for one for Christmas from Ma.
Same here, my man. I think the 3 GBC games are very very strong. Some of my favorites from the series.
Never played this one. Isn't it a horror game, or am I thinking of something else?
Brandon Myers
Final Fantasy IX is my favorite game. Im not even sure how many times ive played it, let alone how many hours ive sunk into it. The characters. The world. Everything about it i love.
>Never played this one. Isn't it a horror game, or am I thinking of something else? Not strictly speaking, though it gets sometimes labeled as one. The game can and is pretty horrifying at times, but it does not follow the traditional horror schemes. It's more dreadful and exhausting than scary. It's technically speaking a survival/sandbox game with heavy emphasis on narrative, and genre-wise it's probably most correctly described as magical realism. It's more Franz Kafka than Stephen King, if that makes any sense.
Jaxson Price
This game has everything I like. Dark atmosphere, immersive as hell, great writing, great plot, main character is great, and the game-play is unmatched (seriously, there simply isn't a better game).
Every element of game design is done to near perfection in this title.
Jaxson Baker
Is this the best game in the series? I've seen more people discussing Thief 2.
