They're gone, purged in the aftermath of the coup

You're the reason people create these threads.

what was your favorite mod my fellow peasants?

mine was Light & Dark (even tho it was buggy as shit)

That's a nice bait you have on your shoulders

Probably mercenaries cuz i made a lot if money by selling gold

Considering picking this up, sell me on it you shills.

How do I mod out the siege tower map? They are fucking painful to play

I saw a gameplay of For Honor, and it reminds me of this game, but with less content and STRONG WOMYN shit.

Is For Honor a rip off of Mount and Blade?

Less talking, more baiting

>Buy Mount & Blade
>I am told I actually had to buy Warband
>never play Mount & Blade nor know someone who would play it with me.
Now what?

How do you make this game fun?

In my 6 hours all tha happened is attacking bandits and robbers for stupid little quests and finding slightly better equipment

You refund mount and blade and buy warband

Buy Warband. It's 5 buck atm.

but the original m&b has a really good LoTR and Star Wars mods

marry your favorite fair maiden, raise an army then annihilate the southern sandniggers and take their territory then call your faction 'The KKK'.

Hack the game and give yourself 999,999 denars, it's much more fun that way.

Then you don't refund m&b and just buy warband for other mods.

exactly

Not at all.
They're completely different games.

For Honor is a third-person American fantasy game about strong and empowered female knights fighting vikings and samurai (Both of whom have a token female character on their team)

Mount & Blade is an RPG with strategy elements where you gather an army to fight for whoever you choose or to fight for yourself and attempt to carve out your own kingdom.

It's a singleplayer game. You play it alone, newfag.

youtube.com/watch?v=RYTRsEtqKps

1. git gud
2. compete in tourneys for lodsa emone
3. spend xps on trainer skill
4. recruit in swadia
5. conquer planet with invincible knight army

Is the viking dlc thing worth it? Do people even play it online?

Am I the only one not feeling the bannerlord hype? I watched a few videos and it just looks like more of the same exact game, like they just improved the graphics and animations a bit and called it a day.

Have been playing all day, was just going to make a thread. Game is fucking amazing, bannerlird when? Can you imagine the mods.

Butterlord will never be released.

I hope there is more options to abuse peasents in bannerlord

The Third Age. Unfortunately the only well made action LOTR game, and a mod at that

Also, LONG LIVE THE KINGDOM OF SWADIA!!

As a sequel should be. It is what warband was + more. Better sieges, better diplomacy etc. Also even more modding capabilities.

I am beyond hype.

It's almost baiting season

It's basically just a more prettier and polished Brytenwalda. Get it if you like the setting I guess. Otherwise there are better mods.

Wedding dance

Gonna full on shill mode for you user.
>Can deal with and create criminal elements in towns; ie, send out your companions to make gangs that will fuck over the tax collectors
>Better UI for diplomacy, talking, and shit in general
>Destructible castles
>WEAPON CRAFTING

Guys...

I just never liked the medieval setting.

I have this game and Napoleonic. Love the latter. The first, I only played it with mods like the western ones, who were atleast sort of fun
Should I give this game a chance...?

What's the best M&B mod for armies of skelingtons?

...

Can I get a starting guide for this shit? I'm completely lost after the tutorial 2bh

Warsword Conquest

played vanilla and loved it. should I get the napoleonic dlc? I kinda want to play again but don't want to grind the same content

It should be pretty far done now

The weapon crafting looks cool.
It will be great to have an iconic and unique weapon for your character.

I learn to play with the /mbg/ tutorial, it's pretty good.

A big point of the game is to make your own adventure user. That being said, you should go around adventuring and scouting out which castles are the least manned and check if your starting kingdom is at war.

>tfw i only have fire and sword

i-i guess guns are n-nice....

It's multiplayer only but its mad fun when there are huge amounts of players and you can even join player made regiments and play weekly siege/linebattle events with like 150-200 people

napoleonic wars is multiplayer only. it's cool if you join a regiment and have line battles with like 200 people, but they're usually autistic to the point of having weekly training sessions that you must attend

Start at praven, the bandits there are easiest. Join tournaments in towns and bet on yourself every time, easy money. Become a mercenary for a king, I recommend swadia. Recruit only in swadia or the kingdom you chose to keep your morale up. Then go around fucking shit up and building your army bigger.

The pointy thing goes into the enemy

I got kicked out of three regiments for racism and such before i gave up on them.

So get warband...

The small quests and attacking bandits are supposed to be beginner stuff that enable you to get on your feet. Ask the lords for quests and one of them should be recruiting mercenaries for war effort. Accept and you'll be allied with them, with the perk that the pay you receive is usually enough to cover all your troop expenses since it scales with the number and quality of troops. At that point you'll be traveling with friendly lords and conquering alongside them. When you're ready, ask the ruler to become a landed lord yourself. You'll lose the scaling mercenary pay, but you're now able to own villages, town and castles.

You can then choose to stay loyal and help your faction to victory, help a claimant and start a civil war, or become independent king yourself. Reminder that the last two require you to have very good relations with a shitton of lords (achievable through quests and battles, even with enemy lords if you let them go after a battle), high Right to Rule score and in general high leveled party to fight most of the time very big odds stacked against you, not to mention enterprises to keep you stocked with denars.

Good ways to make money is to buy enterprises in every town (essentially infinite, but relatively slow money makers that work as long as you're not at war with the town's faction), participate in tournaments, or if you're at war sack villages for loot. However keep in mind that some party members dislike sacking villages for loot and might leave because of it.

CoMM

He's probably using a hammer

Can't atm. But i do want to.

you get both warband and the original if you buy warband

it's 5 fucking dollars

w-what mod?

On a more serious note, for beginners:

SPAM CHARISMA AND LEADERSHIP

No matter how shit you are, if you have a lot more guys than the other guys, you are far less likely to lose.

no you don't

Oh it's on sale. Guess i'll buy it now than.

By having ambition. You wanna be a king of a vast realm? Go do eet.

pretty much this

1866 = Greatest M&B mod.

1257 and Gekokujo are the best mods

you can, read the /mbg/ pastebin

Today the gods decide your bait.

Are there any good native enhancers other than Floris and Silverstag? Floris seems too bloated and I don't like Silverstag. I'm so used to mods I don't think I can play vanilla ever again.

Okay I want the best mod for Warband. Something that doesn't get too far of the original game in terms of settings.

Just something that expands. Something with more diplomacy and a fuckton of varied options.

Does such thing exist?

Want to get into M&B

Are the expansions vital to have fun or are they just another part of the game?

Away with you wild baiter

I will tear you bait from bait

Eh, Floris Mod Pack is probably better for beginners

Prophesy of Pendor is also one of my favorite mods but I have like 1700 hours in this game

I stand corrected and am ashamed of my arrogance. Thanks *tips fedora*

the DLC are separate games you play

No the dlc are essentially different games. Especially With Fire and Sword and Napoleonic Wars which use guns. Just get one of the native mods like Floris if you're just starting.

heh....not a problem, kidd....

>meme

Expansions and most mods are basically like playing a different game, i suggest just trying vanilla to see if you like the gameplay etc

You. I like you.

Nova aetas 4.0 is coming September 1st and it looks amazing

>we have announced that warband will be releasing on xbox one and ps4, this september 16th.

Good fucking luck using orders in the middle of battle without a shitty pause menu

Vanille M&B is honestly quite shit after having played with mods. I don't know how I had hundreds of hours logged on it just playing native

What are they adding? I saw a video but all it was is just a guy visiting a tavern.

What's this then, bait?

r8

The expansions and other games in the series are all separate things, they don't mix or add stuff to each other.
>M&B, first game
>Warband, standalone expansion of the first game
>Fire and Sword, another standalone expansion
>Napoleonic Wars, multiplayer focused expansion for Warband with Napoleonic shit
>Viking Conquest, viking setting expansion for Warband

Get Mount & Blade: Warband. It's basically the vanilla M&B with all previous content, plus more. Think of how original Dragon's Dogma and Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen or Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity and Rebellion are. You only need to get Warband. It also has the most mods if you like those.

Would be nice owning a physical copy of WB desu.
Might even become a collectors item.

Just stay away from Fire and Sword.

The Wedding Dance
No contest

Around a year
One of the devs on twitter hinted at an early 2017 alpha/beta, hopefully it comes true and they reveal a set release date while they're at it
