Can someone explain how this works? So yoi pay ingame gold or money? Then you get grouped and they basically carry you. You get all the loot that drops? Don't you have to do that way more than once to get your mount / enough decent gear?

Not a problem with WoW, its a problem with modern society. Instead of helping other players, socializing, and having fun together, people have decided to monetize their playtime as a "service." It's just greed, nothing more and nothing less.

It cheapens the experience of playing the game. The whole point is to work towards achieving things that you can feel proud of and/or show off. When you saw that warrior standing in org in full Dreadnaught who was in that one guild known for being good, you knew he was a dedicated player that knew his shit. Now imagine everyone running around in Tier 3 in vanilla. People in shit guilds, people who play once a week, all in Tier 3. That is essentially what WoW is now thanks to all of the faggots selling carries. If someone was to actually work hard to obtain Mythic gear or achievements, there is absolutely no way to distinguish that person from someone who simply bought them, so why the fuck would anyone ever put the effort in if everyone will just see them as another person who bought a carry?

Carry selling should be made against the rules, or Blizzard should implement some sort of way to distinguish the people who bought carries and the ones who earned them.

It's not that hard to tell if you got a mount from a carry. If you just want the mount cause you like the model, fine. Just don't delude yourself into thinking that you are impressing anyone who matters.
The only impressive things in pve are very high ranking boss kills and soon to be mythic+ region records.
