How am I supposed to fight bosses? In the alpha stamina recovered so quickly you could constantly be attacking and dodging.

Now it feels like molasses and like I'm playing a Souls title. Am I supposed to attack the boss back away, regen stamina, then repeat? It's not as fun as it was before.

Haven't played the beta yet. In the alpha I died before seeing the first bandit by trying to fight a revenant.

Up to a certain amount, which I believe is 3. You can gain more elixers that are basically just temporary elixers that don't come back, and you can upgrade how many elixers you automatically restore when hitting a shrine.

Use Kek-ai talisman and sacred water to give you insanely fast KI regen. You'll have to dodge away from 80% of their attacks anyway since they will kill your KI in 1 combo.

I already do Ki-pulse, it's the fact that rolling uses half your stamina, then it takes twenty minutes to regen.

The amount of Ki the roll uses depends on your stance. Low stance barely uses any, so if you can master it, switch to low stance (preferably during a ki pulse) before you dodge.

Use your spirit animal, senpai. Dodge behind him and spam low stance, dodge again and fall back to regain ki, rinse and repeat.

You can summon help at the shrine using a sake cup, but you need to have at least cleared the first level to be able to be summoned.

Just select new game, it automatically pops up with a window if you cleared the Alpha on that account.

Not for me. Once I finished the Isle of Demons, I was given the prompt to purchase the Mark of the Conquerer again, and when I did, it told me I'd already bought it.

It's a bit trickier in some ways than the alpha, but easier in other ways.

Nioh isn't an overtly hard game in itself, it just expects you to take the time to learn how it works and play by its rules.

Not in the demo, anyway.

People have been saying its easier but I literally feel its harder.

My playthrough feels like I'm constantly fighting against the stamina bar now instead of just being able to manage it like before.

It seems they changed how to Ki Pulse into weapon switch. It is a bit more fluid now since before you had to Ki Pulse into sheathe weapon and then weapon switch.

Also, does anyone know what elemental status effects fire,earth,wind, and lightning apply?

How does parry timing work in this game? I either seem to be doing it too early or too late, can't get a solid read on when to activate it
