Okay, KB+M people. I get that you like using the mouse because it's super precise and shit. But let's be real. Can you even pretend to like playing video games with a damn keyboard?
Seriously? WASD is how you move? It's like 1989 in here. Every single game has some different configuration of keys and you have to mash through hundreds of buttons to trial and error your way through important actions. Weapons just lazily thrown on number keys instead of innovations that controllers brought such as weapon wheels. Accidentally hitting the windows key and opening the start menu? Not having comfortable grips you can just hold on your couch?
Is mouse really worth it?

Bad troll is bad.

..have you ever thought of looking at the fucking controls first? Also, I've never accidently hit the windows key... ever. Hamfingers.
Jeremiah Sullivan
I play first person shooters with M+KB and everything else with a Dualshock 4
fight me faggot
Isaac Thompson
I know this is obvious bait, but I'll bite.
>Every single game has different configuration of keys and you have to mash through hundreds of buttons to trial and error your way through important actions.
There's a lot of configurations that are standard with only a few variations. WASD for movement, space for jump, E for use, etc. If you need to find out what something does, open up options and look at the keybindings, you mongoloid.
Connor Carter
That's the beauty of pc. If you find a game where you'd rather use a controller (usually racing games, platformers, fighters) then you can use it.
Joshua James
a keyboard has a shitload of buttons, I can have enough buttons to do things like half crouch or autoshuffle. The controller's lack of buttons means i need to make do with the bare minimum.
Leo Green
I guarantee OP intended this as bait, but he's not wrong. Playing KB+M is a fucking chore. It feels way better using a controller. Despite the extra precision a mouse would get you, I'd still much prefer to choose the comfortable option.
Chase Perez
Console apologist pleb/bait
Alexander Wright
I'm not even debating the point, I'm saying people who think trying to start fights as OPs should be exposed to actual physical beatdowns to remind them why people don't do this
Tyler Price
>using WASD to move in 1989 What the fuck are you on about? WASD wasn't a widely used control scheme until well after Doom came out.
Grayson Walker
kb+m for fps and controller for the rest.
Jeremiah Hughes
I have every action I could possibly want without having to sacrifice my other inputs. Can't do that with a controller.
Andrew Hernandez
I agree and tend to use a controller whenever possible, the one exception is FPS games where using a mouse is mandatory to be half decent. Like another user said, most FPS games have similar controls and you can just bind it to whatever makes you happy anyway. RTS games need a mouse too but I don't play those much.
Bentley Brown
that explains why console kiddies on overwatch were crying for a toblerone nerf. because their superior controls made it so that toblerone with his aimbot turret were just so easy to get past that they wanted to nerf him to make sure no one chose him anymore.
yep
Gavin Brooks
Retarded kiddy faggot posting only to troll detected.
Evidence for this fact: A. WASD was not established as the norm for movement until after Doom was released (1993) B. Weapon wheels were a downgrade made solely because controllers lack a reasonable amount of inputs, and do nothing but disrupt the flow of gameplay by 'pausing time' while you pick a different weapon, where PC can instantly swap via number keys. 3. No one with a single hint of keyboard proficiency will accidentally hit the windows key, except in the rarest of circumstances, and even if they do, anyone with even the hint of technical literacy will set their game to be borderless windowed mode, so as to prevent such a disruption. 4. There is no trial and error with the vast majority of games, the accepted standard of WASD to move, space to jump, shift to sprint, CTRL to crouch (sometimes these last two are swapped) has been around for over 20 years. In short, you are stupid.
Evan Price
>complaining about WASD with mouse look being prominent Okay I guess we will go back to movement being bound to the arrow keys or camera controls being bound to the number pad.
Elijah Cook
>half crouch
Sebastian Bailey
>every game has a different config wasd- move L-shift- run melee- v flashlight- f interact: E inventory or menuing: tab space- jump crtl - crouch
whats so hard about it

Will console plebs ever know the pleasure of having multiple aiming sensitivities hotkeyed up to weapons in FPS games? Or will they forever wallow in wretched mediocrity of sameness?
Anthony Edwards
DOOM- Argent Tower (0.5 crouches)

>melee- v

>no, just no I get so triggered every time I see this that I think God must exist and he hates me in particular and made everyone think this was a spectacular way to say "no" just to spite me.

>WASD Granted >have to mash through hundreds of buttons to trial and error your way through important actions Or just read the Readme. >no weapon wheels Literally just hit a key and point with the mouse. Individual keys for inventory slots is just faster. >Accidentally hitting the windows key and opening the start menu Having fun with your Home button yet? >Not having comfortable grips you can just hold on your couch Easily the worst thing about KB/M, very unwieldy. Are leg-shaped keyboards a thing?
Benjamin Myers
>Every single game has some different configuration of keys and you have to mash through hundreds of buttons to trial and error your way through important actions.
This is retarded. Most games have very similar controls, and you don't need """trial and error""" when you can just read the fucking manual, play a tutorial, or reconfigure the controls to whatever you want.
You literally never played a PC game. Fuck off.
Anthony Parker
Keyboard and mouse is better for anything that isn't fighting, race and musou styled games, everything else can be done better with K+M.
Cooper White
>Accidentally hitting the windows key and opening the start menu?
Do you also accidentally hit the power button on your console?
William Cruz
Left half of controller, with paddle buttons and mouse with 6+ buttons would be ideal. I'll admit I don't like kB+m because of having to use the keyboard. It's so awkward.
Austin Bailey
There aren't really many different configurations, unlike controllers, there's enough keys that a left hand can hit and still not have to hit combinations. Also I'm more comfortable with a keyboard. I use a controller for certain games but for any other time, I'd like to just sit up and rest my hands on the WASD.
Xavier Long
No. Wasd. Qe. Cntrl. Alt. Shift. Spacebar. Xc. And even more is how i move. Enjoy your rediculously limited controls gamepadfag.
Liam Ramirez
Or stealthy walk without crouching like every single 'stealth' console game ever
