Seeing North Korea (or some other entity) nuking the United States is far more likely than ever seeing a man fly or respawning.

Be aware, you will need to beat and conquer SK & Japan long before trying to take on America.
ALSO, avoid the use of nukes, as the USA will reduce Greater Korea into a radioactive wasteland the moment you pop one off.
Keep it conventional, build island strongholds off the US coast with shitloads of Anti-air & anti-ship assets to counter their massive superiority.

Oh no no, YOU CAN nuke the USA.
But for every ICBM nuke your nation (Greater Korea) can build, the USA will build 20+, with multiple launch systems. When I last tried I launched 20 ICBMs (copied the Topol-M from Russia), then I first got hit by about 200 ICBM's, followed by B2 bombers dropping B61 nukes in WW2 Dresden numbers nation wide.
Nothing was left when the USA stopped dropping nukes.
The UN was deeply concerned.

As for "Invasion", sure.
Get a transit treaty with Mexico, park 400+ heavy air defence missile systems along the border.. then just buzz them with a MiG-21 once and watch the USAF come charging in.
The MiG dies when 10,000+ AMRAAMs slams into it, but at the same time the USAF gets a beating when a bunch of S-300 / BUKs / whatever you have launches into their formations.
Do that until the USAF gets depleted, then try a land invasion.
You WILL NOT SUCCEED if the USAF is intact.
