Which one should I get?
Which one should I get?
ps3
PS3 all the way, vita isn't worth investing in.
You want that triple.
ps3. But why do you decide between these 2? what do you want to play?
Right now I wanna play kingdom hearts 1&2. But I also want to play through other PS3 exclusives I missed last gen.
why not both?
ps3
vita has overpriced memory card, jrpgs make up 95% of the library, and the games are overpriced usually.
source: owned a vita for 2 years
Ps3 obviosuly. Unless you want to get games from Japan, then dont get the ps vita.
PS Vita owner here. Get the PS3, I like my Vita but PS3 has better games and a bigger variety. jrpgs make up a large portion of Vita's games.
And don't get that shitty slim version. Get this one instead. pic related.
Get both, PS3 for the good ol' games, and Vita for the newer games with better graphics
PS3 and while you're at it grab the Capcom psn humble bundle right now for some decent games and Devil May Cry collection
op here
That was another reason I was considering getting the PS3.
I'll get the PS3 now and wait on the vita. Maybe it will get even cheaper
Do you have PC or PS4 or you plan to buy one in the future?
If so, buy PS3.
Also there's a *rumor* that new Sony portable console is going to be announced alongside PS4 slim and Neo in few weeks.
>check it out
>you need a psn account from these countries
>my country isn't listed on there
Fuuuck.
How hard is it to create an American PSN account?
the Vita is fucking worthless. i guess you could use it for remote play if you ever figure out how to do it.
Get a PS3, and if you want portability, get a PSP and put CFW on it. The Vita has nothing but weeb shit and lacklustre ports.
EzPz
Hol up fags
I was under impression vita is basically a portable ps2.
I know vita games are dog shit but what about a dude just trying to play ps2 on move?
What about that?
Neither, all games worth playing on the PS3 are also on PC, and there are no Vita games.
Vita can't play PS2 games because reasons. If you just want to play PS2's library then you're going to have to get an actual PS2.
second hand vita TV for 20$
Or emulate it with higher resolution and antialiasing (^:
Really? I could have sworn I saw a pretty big library. I could be wrong.
Well there is mgs3 and mgs2 :)
Wait, what's wrong with the Super Slim version? After putting a 500GB hard drive into it, I'm pretty happy with it.
not that guy, but i always thought the super slim looked too flimsy. but my main reason was different: in my country there's only 2 models of the super slim: 12GB and 500GB. the 500GB is too expensive for what it is, and thr 12gb, wtf do i even do with that, can only probably fill half of one game.
and besides, those were the only 2 models still being sold here at the time. so i went on my country's equivalent of craigs list and found a guy selling a sealed 320gb slim model. he said he already had one and was gifted another. i got it for relatively cheap, and it was infact completely new and it's still working flawlessly to this day.
nowdays, you can;t even get the super slim in my country (at least in retail). the ps3 is all but gone. ps4 only
also, the slim model doesn;t require a stand. pic related
OP, you should get a PS3 on the simple grounds that all the best games and hidden gems are all well known, and all the games are cheap as shit.
I got a ps3 with tax return money last year and it was great to be able to pop into a game shop and grab a new 10/10 game for ten bucks every week or two.
This, I quite like mine. I don't trust a console that doesn't let me manually open the disk drive.
PS3 is the better choice, just because of the fact the disk games are going to be around longer in used game stores and probably cleared out just like the PS2 games. Just last year I got MGS4 for $1 at Gamestop.
