No Man Sky's player count drops 88% (Eighty-Eight Percent)

>According to data compiled by Steam, the game's peak concurrent player count on Aug. 11 was 212,604, while on Aug. 22 it was 25,689, Andy Chalk of PC Gamer reported Wednesday.

The developer is a massive liar, idiot ("oh i cant believe 2 people "met up" that's amazing!), and scammer ($60 for nothing).

Discuss.

READ THE FUCKING CATALOG YOU GODDAMN DEGENERATE!

What a mess.

>(Eighty-Eight Percent)
We didn't need this part, asshole.

How does this compare to other single player games?

>it's a Sup Forums doomsayer thread
>tortanic
>we did it bros
>in this fleeting moment I am not so insignificant

Most big releases drop off by 70 to 80% but we're not allowed to talk about that because it diminishes the whole 'tortanic' narrative.

Only 10 planets to explore, the rest are copies. Animals are fucktarded looking, it's buggy and there's nothing to do besides farm materials. Let's just say it isn't worth $60.

>(Eighty-Eight Percent)
I don't get this meme.

I missed out, what's all the drama about? What did the developer lie about?

This really answers my question, thank you.
This doesn't answer my question at all and I think you should be banned.

Happy to be of some help.

Watch the Angry Joe review, he points it out.

>Watch the Angry Joe review
>Watch Angry Joe
How about no

Pretty normal for PCniggers. Everything that's not a MOBA or Blizzshit is abandoned in 1 week, doesn't matter if single player or multiplayer.

>Not watching our guy

>88%

How did they get away with releasing something that was clearly not finished?

Damn he ripped that game apart, good explanation

Hey, how about trying to show some support to a fellow gamer, huh? If you're gonna be on Sup Forums you better support gamers, that's all I'm gonna say.

NOOOOO FUCK I JUST ESCAPED A JACK THREAD

FUCK YOU

fuck this guy dude

PS4 had no games, Sony swoops in on Hello Games post-flood, gives them money and presses for early release.
Well, it's a theory.

Where are these videos?? I was hypnotized by his shit and watched a ton of his videos on YT last night but never found any of the really weird shit posted on Sup Forums.

>think there's an egg on the burger
>it's unmelted cheese
>not using a serrated knife to cut, instead destroys the bun and smushes everything

>mfw he shows it cut in half

What happened to this man where he has managed to completely misunderstand the fundamentals of cooking?

he's been making them constantly for years, his channel has so many. i assumed at first people were just making fun of the older ones and maybe he learned from his mistakes since then but the new ones are full of dumb shit too

Never mind this guy yells too much

I wish that gif was bigger.

So do I

Sorry user

>MOO BRO WTF

It's only been ten 11 days, unless the game is incredibly short then that isn't applicable.

A hype machine that got tons of people to preorder or day one buy before people found out how bad it was.

I don't understand, don't people usually want their steak sandwiches rare?

Is this the fabled schadenfreude?

Remember, you can get still get a refund if you fell for this faggot's scam. Take the $60 and buy Subnautica, literally the same game but with 15x the content and a fraction of the price.

But the game is infinite user

It's hamburger not steak

reminder that Spore is ten times better than Nu Males Sky

I can't stand the faggot, I tried watching the review but he's obnoxious as fuck.

it's a meme you dip

Which shows that it's shit if it can't even survive a week without a 70% drop in players.

>they fell for the spore 2.0 + more lies
we never learn from our past? do we forget everything?

The original dark souls was on top played steam games for years, and that was years after its initial console release

Sad isn't it? That casuals, reddit, and garbage hipsters that work at Hot Topic/Comic Stores were going to buy this eh.

Screw the developers.

>$60

Who?

DaS had replayability with PvE and PvP though since it was an RPG with a lot of variation, NMS doesn't have that

inb4 REEEEE

Wrong. This game was hyped far more than most "big releases" and it's entire fucking gimmick is exploration. The fact that the vast majority of people have already dropped this game means that the exploration is fucking dogshit and there is nothing else to do. The game was billed as having 19 gorillion planets and it'd take billions of years to find and do everything, yet you think it's normal or okay that a 7 days later than most people have stopped playing? Do you work for Hello Games?

>a lot of variation
>NMS doesn't have that
I kek'd. You're right, that's the funny part.

HA HA

US GAMERS AMMIRITE??

It's like having to explain what Roman numerals are to idiots, i.e. MGSV (MGS Five).

no publisher forced them into milestones

>sell game hyped on EXPLORATION of 18 GORILLIAN PLANETS
>no one is fucking playing 2 weeks later
it means the game is shit and there's nothing meaningful to fucking explore

>Implying MGSV is meant to be Metal Gear Solid 5

You silly.

This. It's so obvious. Too bad we'll never actually see mgs5

this. it is obviously a homage to this board

Well no shit, but you know what I mean.

BTW had Kojima ever been confirmed to visiting Sup Forums? I know Kamiya has
