Honestly, beating Hell is probably one of the hardest things I've done in a game, and I feel like when I actually got it, it was kind of a fluke. Keep trying, you'll get there.

Xenosaga and all its characters are still owned by Namco. Monolith couldn't use them no matter how much they wanted to. So far, Xenoblade 3 seems most likely to be a continuation of X, for better or worse.

Nah. The controls feel infinitely better on keyboard, hazards are sometimes unnoticeable, and aside from the backgrounds, it just doesn't look that good. If you want to spend money, buy the steam version of Cavestory. I'm pretty sure it has more content than the 3DS.

I don't think if I'm the person you're talking about, but I greatly love KOS-MOS and T-elos.

Oh and there's also a loading screen between rooms and areas, unlike the free and steam version. It's like, 3 seconds long but I found it annoying as fuck honestly.

Basically this: But I would add that the official translations kind of suck. I much prefer the fan translation for the original free version.
If you get Cave Story+ on Steam, you can apparently mod it to use that fan translation, but it breaks like half the achievements.

So, I personally recommend starting off with the original, and maybe coming back to Cave Story+ in a year or two when you want to play it again like what seems to happen to fucking everyone who plays this game.
