CONSOLE RELEASE WHEN?!
I wanna play it on my couch
>I wanna play it on my couch

That wasn't hard now was it, you dumb fuck?
Yes it is very good
Play it with dickplomacy for hot pre/post battle dickings and better AI
It's extremely wasteful on your time. Like you play it for 2 hours and never really achieve anything. At least in SP.
realistically it's a 6/10 game that's really fun to play
>It's extremely wasteful on your time. Like you play it for 2 hours and never really achieve anything.
Since when is entertainment supposed to achieve anything?
I mean ingame goals. MB is like korean MMO which won't even let you buy XP boosters.
one of my favorite games out there
can't wait for butterlord
What do you do for two hours and not achieve anything?
>buy XP boosters
Warband is fucking great thanks to mods, you pleb.
Viking Conquest is awesome too.
youre basically just a guy in a medieval fantasy setting. you start with nothing. what he means is it takes a long time until you have your own army/faction/money because it isnt easy to get things quickly
It's not if you hate fun.
I played this game in every waking minute for two years. I didnt look for a job, I ignored my friends and lived no social life at all.
It's great imo.
I know what you do in Warband, I'm asking what do YOU do for two hours and not achieve anything?
>is it takes a long time until you have your own army/faction/money because it isnt easy to get things quickly
Maybe if you suck and can't solo groups of 50+ sea riders and win tourneys for easy renown and cash
pff, slave trade > everything else
train yourself, train your army, get mad loot AND dosh from selling them
>Warband
>2 hours
You might at least have like 10 peasants in your group and in danger of getting raped by Sea Raider
But yeah git gud
The guy is full of shit.
Sure, it's not easy to get an army going but you can still start our relatively fast with a small militia and plunder or help villages against bandits and slowly work towards a recognizable force to conquer castles or nations.
If that's not for you, you can be hired by county magistrates as an official soldier and work yourself up in the ranks and gain combat experience and wealth in the process to further help your cause in the future.
You can also desert in the middle and start from there.
If that's not your cup of tea become a gladiator and participate in various exhibition fights throughout the world.
The game has many ways to reach your goal.
It takes a lot of autism and time to enjoy.
I never did get it. And for MP I would just rather play Chivalry
Slave trade is not really profitable in the early game in my opinion, since the best you can try to take on are either sea riders or the rare groups of deserters, and you have to dump lots of points into prisoner management to make it really profitable
Then you must be doing something really wrong.
How? I'm sure that I can make more money selling the loot from groups of 30 or so sea riders that just destroyed a caravan by lancing and sniping them one by one on horseback than trying to capture them (how? you try to free a group of slavers from bandits?) and then hauling them back to wherever the slave merchant decided to fuck off to. Also, you need to dump points in PM to get enough prisoners to make it worthwhile, and in the early game you need those points in stuff like riding and power draw
>only 10 peasants after 2 hours
nigga.
To take prisoners you need to knock them out, you can do this with blunt weapons.
To knock them out you need to get close, and if you get close to a sea rider at level 1 you die, unless you are zooming past on horseback, but blunt weapons all have shit range and make using them on horseback extremely risky, considering that sea riders have weapons with much longer reach.
I mean, if you can pull it off, good for you, but it's too risky for my tastes
It takes time to master the combat if you didn't practice in the training ground first
I said early game, not "literally just started 2 minutes ago" early.
Its a great game and its been proven over and over again that Sup Forums generaly likes it. The native multiplayer is where its at, you can go with mods and stuff, but when it comes down to it, nothing is more fun than out skilling your opponents and winning 3v1s.
>ywn play warband for the first time again
>ywn buy the guy who made gekokujo a drink
Is there a mod that gives the leaders some kind of personality? Or at least make the interactions a bit better? That's my only gripe with the game. These cunts are boring.
I absolutelty loe it. Its a sandbox medieval game so most gameplay is self motivated, but if you have ever liked stories of knights and kings you will get really immersed and have all the self motivation you need.
more like
>you will never play mountain blade for the first time again
i know most of you never played the first one
I did play it. It came free with warband
It's literally an inferior version of warband. Why bother mentioning it.

I bought notBrytenwalda since it was on sale.
I really, REALLY wish it didn't automatically NOT autosave. I just lost like an hour, maybe two, because of an extremely sudden and unavoidable duel that YOU ACTUALLY DIE IN and I have absolutely no motivation to do it all again.
The introductory mission has the dude give you 500 denars and tells you to gather at least 10 men. Are you telling me the first half of the introductory mission took you 2 hours?
>Why bother mentioning it

Fine enough, I was talking about "just got out of the starting city"
