There are a lot but I've really been enjoying Jake Kaufman lately. His work on shovel Knight and Shantae and the Pirate Curse was stellar.

I really dislike Banjo's goofy whacky music but I like Kirkhope's work in Goldeneye and Perfect Dark.
I'm a musician, I know stock sounds when I hear them. There's very little substance, musically, in the command and conquer track in particular.
