Yea it's fun regardless.

Yes, I played it alone and enjoyed it.

One of the blandest 3D Mario games after 3DL

Gameplay isn't bad but the settings are just so sterile and boring

yes!!! such a fun game

def more fun with friends tho! nintendo should have added online support

>hating the japan levels
>hating the mariokart level
>hating the carnival levels
>hating the shadow play levels

shit taste lad

Single player and multiplayer on 3D World are two really different experiences. In single player, you can be methodical and scour the levels for collectibles at your own pace. Multiplayer requires you to keep moving since the camera will always follow the player who's furthest along in the stage, so unless you constantly tell the leader to stop and follow you around to search, it's a more hectic experience that doesn't let you relax and look for secrets. Playing alone is very worth it.

The settings in 3D World are the most varied in the series.

This, although it somewhat depends who you're playing with. When I played multiplayer, everyone kept trying to farm for points to get the crown reward.

No.
If you want to play a platformer on WiiU, both single and multi, just pick up Tropical Freeze.
It's everything 3DWorld isn't: fun, challenging, creative, good looking, replayable, deep.
Retro BTFOed EAD hard.

>the settings are just so sterile and boring
nigga there were tons of neat settings and you best not be saying that switch scramble circus is sterile and boring

DKTF sucks in multiplayer, a lot of levels make no sense to play with others. It's a great game, consistently better than 3D World no doubt, but 3D World is still great.

literally the opposite

>ITT: friendless manchildren
Fucking losers.

The whole game feels lifeless and effortless. It's a 3 dimensional 2d Mario with no challenge whatsoever
>Heh heh someone didn't get to the challenge stages at the end
The challenge stages arent that hard either but casuals will insist that it's up there as top 3 in the hard as my wife's boyfriend hierarchy.

They shoulda made sunshine 2 or galaxy 3 or Mario 65

>having friends that want to play Mario together after the age of 10
I bet you're a well adjusted bunch.

Mario is not fun multiplayer, stop propping this meme up. It's chaotic, stupid, and one of your friends always lags behind and gets upset.

Rayman is the only fucking multiplayer single screen platformer that I've seen get it right

go back to your manly fps games bro

Its funny that 3Dworldfags claim its "the most difficult in the series" since Miyamoto admitted that it was designed to be easy for casuals, they even talk about how they're worried about people getting lost in games like SM64

Mario is normie central, what are you talking about?

>playing Mario yourself after the age of 10
even worse

Go back to gametrailers you faggot.

Origin's/Legends multiplayer is decent, although in Origins it's also a common issue that players lag behind (less of an issue in Legends since its levels are more runner-based). Like I said in is can depend who you're playing with.

DKTF, however, has poor multiplayer overall, in-part thanks to its minecart and barrel levels being entirely singleplayer-focused, but also due to some levels with fast-collapsing platforms and other timing-based platforming that doesn't work well unless you let 1 player take complete control anyway.

I really hate that Nintendo went to Mario 3 for inspiration since the DS rather than SMW. I find just find the who simple single gimmick levels + find the red coins so boring.

I loved SMW's endless secrets and alternate routes, they should have built on it.

Like Zelda, Mario needs a re-invention.

not anymore, Nintendo has been forgotten in the public consciousness.

Last time he was relevant was New Super Mario Bros Wii

in terms of peak difficulty, 3D World is highest (thanks mostly to Champion's Road being as ridiculous as it is; although World Fireflower has some tricky areas too), but overall it's about average as a casual Mario title.

The complaint of difficulty in a Mario title strikes me as odd, though, since the games are all very laid-back and consistently easy - only SMB2 (JP) has any sort of challenge, and that was mostly due to its troll-like nature.

he just appeared in the olympics commercial

DELET THIS

>tfw user screencapped your post
Thanks senpai.

>"puffy asshole"
what did she mean by this?

That doesn't mean anything

normies don't care about him

NSMBU was basically SMW with less Yoshi spam and the SMB3's Item Storage instead of SMW's Reserve Box (which 3D Land and World kept over NSMB anyway.)
