>not full heart and using 3 katanas
fucking scrub

...

This the new thread? Alright then. I can't let that thread die without addressing this.
God dammit. You swapped to your other ranged weapon slot. You can equip two and swap between them with R1+Up/Down.

Gomenasai, but I'm gonna make an example of you. Just how long were you messing around with this trying to figure out why you didn't have a bow? Did you not think about the two weapon slots? Did you not think to try out any of the other buttons? You clearly had one weapon before at one point, and you see the two boxes that show currently equipped weapons above the stance icon, so come on dude. Seriously.

>full heart
>not half heart, half spirit for that sweet Raikiri

I dont even get the difference between STR/Skill like in Souls.

Do katanas benefit from both?
I just went health, STR, and some end and heart with katana

gamecity.ne.jp/form/nioh_b_us

How many times have you fapped to the Semen Demon yet?

the level up screen tells you what the stats do
how are people so confused about this

Enough magic for sloth + kekkai + dex for ninjutsu of your choosing + whatever your weapon scales with + what it barely skills with once you hit soft cap

>spirit

Can I viably go full magic/ninja

>not leveling spirit for the guardian effects

The stat screen tells you what everything does. Your weapons tell you exactly what it scales with.

Apparently putting a tutorial in wasn't enough for people like you.

I saw someone who was almost full dex wipe out samurai dude with bombs

>using the guardian

It works exactly the same way as in Souls, except you don't even need to know the icons since it uses words. Look at the stats for a weapon, it says "Change to Attack (One of your stats)" and then the letter is how much it's affected by.

PSA: 90% of the questions I've seen asked can be answered ingame by just reading the item in question or trying it out a little.

>second mission in Twilight
>area right at the shrine
>the wheel skeletons on narrow ledges
You sadistic fucks.

how do you switch between weapons in slot 1 and 2?

In a similar manner to how you change stances

You use the guardians automatically, pal.

If I went full ninja in pve would I have to play like a real ninja, sneak around enemies to the boss due to limited supplies? Man I'm getting goosebumps thinking about it.

>Raikiri
where might I find one of those?

>mfw

>using the guardian
do you just kill yourself on purpose and not pick up your spirit?
you do know it gives passive bonuses when you level up spirit

...

im like level 30 or something and my weapon doesnt even scale, but I still hit like 500s with it, and 1000 crits

Anyone wanna co-op some Semen demon or twilight missions (if that's even possible). Level 30 pole master race player.

1kat > spears > 2kat > axes

I didn't bother checking Raikiri out since the bull is so good, is there even anything special about him this time that he's the last unlock? In the alpha he was just for grinding.

my favorite weapon > your favorite weapon

When Twilight opens up for Isle of Demons.

Raikiri is a strong lightning katana. You're thinking of Raiken.

Literally every weapon scales with at least 3 stats.

>needing the passive bonuses
>my weapon doesnt even scale

yfw

>leveling up at all
>wearing armor
>using weapons
>not just going naked and bare handed at level 1

Essentially a typo, yeah.

Any answer to my question?

>thinking that's even comparable to not needing passive guardian shit

you are fucking retarded

>not stamina/spirit

Wait, the passives of the spiritfus get stronger when you level up spirit? I didn't notice that. Can anyone post some examples of base and higher spirit?

>Actually going past the title screen to win

Lmao

is it just me or is the beta dead compared to the alpha? i'm not getting any summons

>finally finished the last Twilight mission
Feels good.

i put 1 in everything and bought every skill as it became available.

is this not like onimusha so i will eventually get everything or did i fuck up like DS?

user, that's rude. Not very passive of you.

I really hope they made the game more accessible to appeal to a broader audience, my friends on reddit all agree the following changes should be made:

-Remove stamina bar because managing stamina was too hard
-Remove levelling system because it's too confusing
-Remove weight system because it's too confusing, you should be able to quick dodge in all armour
-Remove skill system because it's too confusing
-Remove lock-on system, and have William automatically attack the closest enemy
-Remove/nerf Revenants as they are far too difficult
-Add more shrines, there shuld be shrines roughly every 10-15 metres
-Remove inventory system, you'll now just get the important items mapped to each D-pad button
-Remove stances, they are way too complicated

hopefull the developers can see what kind of game we want

Less people trying to be summoned but its nearly instant to get summoned yourself.

FUCK YOU OP
WHERE THE FUCK WERE YOU LAST NIGHT?

I SEARCHED FOR A NIOH THREAD FOR HOURS
I NEEDED SOME GODAMN HELP WITH THAT SUCCUBUS BITCH FUCKING GODAMNIT
I beat her though and it felt good. After about 20 deaths of not knowing how to even proceeed with this boss, i block spammed and dodged her paralyze bullshit. 10/10 mark of the warrior

Nobody is playing in the first boat level. Everyone rushed it to check out the 2 new levels. Thats where all the activity is.

>Spirit required

Gonna try a Spear playthrough, what skills are good? I notice High Stance has two L1+Triangle skills, one being some knockdown sweep and the other a big spinning move.

do you guys think we will get to keep any progress from this beta?

...

the spinning move can be upgraded to go on as long as you have Ki all the bar so its good.

no

There were threads all last night. The retard making them was naming them "Ni oh" instead of "Nioh"
You don't even need skills since high stance light attack will kill everything. Besides, if you're going spear only then you should have enough points from leveling to get everything.
Nope.

No.

>Having enough of axe bullshit, Uramu-sama decides to be cheap with an axe on his own.

Are there any other playable characters besides william?

There has been a minimum of one thread up since before the beta started and you could have made your own thread.

I know this gets said a lot in exaggeration but you really should consider suicide.

...

Are there normally other playable characters in rpgs with no character customization?

not today you little shit

[Harikiri]

...

there are in ninja gaiden

Are guns better than bows or something? Ammo for them is way rarer.

since it's team ninja, they'll probably add some qt girls as dlc

Mid-stance Spear is amazing.
Immediately get the skill that lets you swap places with and turn around an opponent. There's a typo that says it uses it in low stance, but it is actually a mid stance move.

Otherwise, get yourself some Kekkai Talismans and get to stabbing fools.

i think guns head shot even if the enemy is wearing a helmet, but i'm not $100 sure

Posting new characters

You can oneshot armored bandit's with muskets with special ammo or knock them down with normal ammo.

I'm missing one Kodama from the first level and I feel like I've looked everywhere.

Will the full game let you customize the MC or are you Protagonist Jones the whole game?

I just want to beat boat oni and restart my shit character. No chance in hell canI beat the second level.

...

>Ninjutsu has a skill that buffs your unarmed damage

Is it possible to make unarmed viable?

That was Kuroda Nagamasa

the other character revealed is based Kuroda Kanbei who has a dragon buddy.

I hope we get to fight him.

everything seems to imply we are protagonist williams the whole time

Me too, I think I got all the sneaky ones so it must be an easy one in the first area before the fire buildings that I missed.

how do you get bull

shit game

The Tachibanas

he's the guy you save from hinoenma

Beat succubat

No, its a pretty good game with some really annoying shit and artificial difficulty on the bosses.

g00d post friend

I have one Swordsman and one Hunter and two of each of the rest. I'm assuming it's either of those that I'm missing.

how do you unlock other spirits?

You'll play as Uramu and you'll like it!

...

Needs to work on his spear if he was able to get beaten so easily.

Is this game fun?

youtube.com/watch?v=K2NhiXNtP9g
all the kodama locations in the first area

man the game is good, I just wished the game was a big world instead of snes era stage selecting

Thank you. This is the beta right? I think they moved the locations since the alpha.

That's subjective

Kappas are so annoying. The first time I met one it ran into enemies and got away. The second time it grabbed my balls, ran off and dove into the ground.

Fuck you kappa.

How do I leave a level? I've gone to fight Tachibana before doing the Twilight levels and it wasn't a good idea.

sloth talismans work great, like with every other enemy

Well at least he looks cool
