Ikea is garbage though.

no
ikea is heaven

Why not a simple desk?

what's with those shelves to the side? They look so goofy.

The bottom parts don't look strong now low-enough to fit a desktop PC there; in fact the whole thing doesn't look like it could take much weight.

This.
Do you really need all those oddly-positioned shelves, OP?

its pretty large and i have some spare cash and it looks pretty kewl desu

I have this desk, pretty comfy.

you can remove the shelves at the side and you can lower the shelver in the middle to fit your monitors m8
and ye im gonna have my speakers on the side shelves

Using this desk right now. It's pretty good and you can remove some of the shelves like the other user said.

>hutch
ew no. The micke is way better.

I was talking about the PC itself, not your monitor.

I have this desk, its pretty decent, the shelves can be moved or removed, and the middle ones can be moved for height.
The cable holes on the back are really neat.

Garbageheaven

oh ye
it fits in those things below the desk itself
also pic is example of setup with this desk

I have the exact same desk.

ikea furniture is high quality m8

Ooh, it's bigger than I assumed.

ye its much larger when you see it irl

I own this one. Bottom parts are quite solid, unless your PC is made of lead. Goofy side shelves can be taken off or can be put facing inwards at varying heights. There are small hooks under upper shelf for something like headphones. I took off middle shelf and goofy ones, though. And side plates rattle, so I had to dampen them with electric tape.Overall, I liked it. Quality might vary from country to country, I think, it's OK in Russia.

That looks like it would fall apart if I bumped it too hard.
>Not making your own furniture out of 2x4s to make the sturdiest fucking desk ever made

>ikea furniture
>falling apart if bumped too hard
ikea furniture is the sturdiest shit on earth mate

Can you take off the top shelf? I have a Hemnes and I love it but I plan to run tons of displays and I'm considering swapping.

ye man
since its flat pack you can just assemble it without the top shelf

iirc i have even seen freddes with the sides removed to fit 3 monitors

Now I'm saddened by my desk :( It's handmade tho.

post pics user

you can take off both the middle shelves if you want, but you'll still have the frame going up on the sides.

I bought it a few months ago and I gotta say it's the best desk I've ever had. The little wing shelves on the sides can be moved however you like, you can have them both on one side, or both facing in if you wanted. The bottom shelves I think are meant for a PC tower, but I just use them to store drinks and snacks. Also, TWO CUPHOLDERS. Very handy. For monitors, there's easily space for two 24" wide screens. I use two myself, and I have a decent margin on either side and in between. You could also do what I do, and mount your monitors to the wall, giving you that shelf space for your consoles, controllers, etc. A small bonus, I tend to slide my keyboard and mouse underneath that shelf when I need to use my desk for things like writing or studying, which is nice. It's also wide enough I put an HDMI switcher under there, and maybe some other random tidbits.

Pic is it now, kind of a mess atm, but I'm gonna do some cleaning today so please don't judge.

What size are those monitors? I have 2 27" monitors and I doubt they'd fit on there.

Thanks friendos
I only want to judge you on the fact that you're not sharing those snacks.

idk what size they are, but they should fit, dont quote me on that tho

Absolutely NO SPACE.

noice inverted pic user
ye you should probably get a new desk m8, looks like shit

Fak, sorry.

No, that desk sucks.

Get a butcher block and drill some legs onto it. That way you can clamp two monitor arms onto the back. You'll also have room on the side to clamp a microphone arm on the side.

>steam controller
user why

Got it as a gift and I gotta say it's pretty good, but not at that price. Right now I'm playing Resident Evil 4, soft pull in LT is read weapon, Gyro is aim, full pull is shooting.

>9/11

>Built it cup holders
Top quality desk

ye its gr8
i keep my peanuts in them

I really like it. It's really comfortable and sturdy, and it's a lot bigger than it looks. Huge amount of room

I have this desk and I like it a lot. The shelves on the side can be removed or are a good place for speakers. Fits my desktop, printer, and laptop just fine.

>No ikea where I live
>99 dollarydoos for shipping with them
What are my options for a cheap, big desk? I have a 29" and 27", plus a couple of handhelds, books, etc.

you should build ur own then
not that hard desu

Recommend me a corner desk bros.

Price isn't much of a problem.

It looks pretty cool, but I don't know how structurally secure it is.

its fine, it can hold just as much as any other desk

>For monitors, there's easily space for two 24" wide screens.

Fail. If your desk can't fit at least two 27" screens, you fail at life.

>desk is right next to the fucking door
good fucking job m8, how many times have you slammed your door into your desk?
