3, 4, 5, 7, and 8

Play DQI, realize the rest are that shit but with prettier graphics and/or spread over ten times more hours, move on to a better series.

I personally thought they were OK. The stories could have been alot better. But I enjoyed them none the less. Are the rest much better and more fleshed out?

3 is the one I liked the most.
I'm about to finish the snes version of 5, although something is keeping me away from it for some reason.

Their still good, but not as good as the others, such as 4,5,8. Haven't played 7. 5 is the one I would recommend the most. I'm wondering about this as well. I want to play

VI is just really boring, but I guess it's different if you haven't tried any other DQs. I personally think IX is good and definitely better than VI.
Story-wise V is the best by far. IV, VII and VIII also have good stories.

Butchered. Removes the board minigames, monster medals and their associated dungeon, and worst offense they took out the monster attack animations. Even the fucking gbc version had them in

i recently finished up snes 5 and played through roughly half of snes 3 before i lost the files, so i already know i like 6's presentation and i know it does a lot of the same stuff as 5, so what exactly is wrong with 6?
