If you got the two expansions, fun.
This
Don't believe his lies
Restarts. Lots of them.
Get ready to git gud on anything past Prince difficulty.
Also THIS fucker.
>World congress votes
>You 5
>Greece 57
Shaka bringing the multiculturalism to your cities.
Well hopefully you're not planning to play multiplayer, unless you have all the DLCs you're basically screwed
7 hours passing by in the blink of an eye
Fun
I only played the base game and didn't get hooked like I did 3 and 4. So the expansions really improve things?
The game is so much better with expansions
you're in for a world of pain anything past king difficulty
The base game is objectively the worst base game out of all of them. The expansions are required for fun to occur.
>denounce Zulus for being shit at everything
>the other 6 civs follow suit
>world war against the zulus to wipe them off the map
Too bad Pericles won't live up to this faggot's reputation
>Oh what a beautiful cozy land, everyone is far from my border space and for once the city state placement isn't a colossal shit
>I'm going to enjoy founding my first 4 cities at my own pace and leisure right he-
>Samoa springs up 6 tiles away from my capital
>AYYYYY ALOHA FRIEND!
A really good entry to the Civ series, which is great since the Civ series is a great entry into 4X games in general.
As long as you have the two expansions, that is, vanilla is a bit shit.
4 with both expansions is my favourite, but it's a bit fiddly and I think it plays best when you're already familiar with the base game, rather than jumping in with all these extra systems bolted on top of the vanilla ones, and I wouldn't recommend vanilla 4 over 5 with expansions.
>thinking Alex won't be leader DLC
Absolute boredom
Is there a way to get the Gods and Kings DLC for free on the steam edition? I've already got BNW
Forgot to post your pic senpai
>playing on immortal because I like a challenge but am not autistic enough for diety
>game is going smoothly so far, just conquered Denmark by the Medieval Era
>turn my attention to America
>he already has a fucking army of Minutemen
wat.
Civ 5 vanilla is pretty high tier mediocrity. G&K fixed a few things, BNW made it imo the best in the series.
>talks to the civ
>Don't settle near us
Gandhi gonna try to fuck you up that's what you in for
For the first 15-20 or so hours, a lot of confusion as to what to do and doubt as to whether what you're doing is even accomplishing anything.
Build the Great Library as soon as you can
