destiny
the pvp is the most enjoyable fps multiplayer I've played since the early days of reach
DmC
Fuck you
battlefield 4, I gets to kill people, with satisfying weapons.
Jackie Chan
Freedom Fighters
Good thirs person shooting gameplay. Squad based without feeling tactical like some Tom Clancy game.
Good story/vibe/progression.
Overlooked underated local multiplayer.
Ain't nothing like it.
Condemned
Great atmosphere and visceral melee combat.
Bloodborne
Excellent atmosphere, the best setting, understated storytelling building upon the already interesting Lore, faster gameplay than what is typical of Souls games. Just a masterpiece, and I didn't even play the Old Hunters.
My nigga
>and I didn't even play the Old Hunters.
Fucking do it, you're missing out the best DLC in all of the souls games
It's colorful as fuck, combo heavy as fuck and all my favorite characters are in it along
Paper Mario TTYD
Funny, good gameplay, cool companions. Super sad parts (Bombery reading the letter)
Pretty
Destiny is me in itself, but the pvp is just pure trash.
Sims 4, I recreated my house with all the dumb shit I bought when I moved in several years ago and it helped me decide which stuff to get rid of so I didn't look like a hoarder.
HoI4.
It feels fucking fantastic to Schlieffen plan the French and then kicking sovjet ass as Uncle Adolf.
>Freedom Fighters
Great Soundtrack to boot, March of the Empire.
>EUIV
Literally history making machine, love changing the face of Europe and the world as a whole.
Looking forward to the new dlc that is coming out.
>best open world GTA
>some much to explore
still has replay value after so many years unlike 4 and 5
Tales of Vesperia
Fair bit of diversity between the characters, combat is fun, huge world to explore, lots of content. It's fun.
Rainbow six siege
One of the better, more innovative fps in recent years.
If you ever grow tired of eu4, try ck2 and hoi4
Victoria 2
Liquor, it makes the pain go away
I have got HOI4 loving it, but there are some glaring issues that are preventing me from playing it over EUIV at the moment, hoping for some good dlc for HOIV or a decent patch that fixes the game.
>CK2
the interface puts me off slightly. Would you say that the game is harder to learn and understand than EUIV?
same
Modded Skyrim,
because it just works.
Rune Factory 4. Basically a Harvest Moon with sword and monsters recruiting. Art, music and gameplay are pretty awesome. You can do the stuff like you usually do in Harvest Moon, but there are so much more you can do. Such as cooking, forging weapons, accessories, armors, you get the idea. The game is pretty amazing.
You definitely have aspergers
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth
Fun gameplay.
Enjoyable soundtrack.
Cool as fuck digimon I never saw in the cartoons.
Cute girls.
>Monster Hunter 4 G
It's fun, it's hard but not stupid hard, the armour looks cool but to get them you must go through a lot of hardships, thing that makes the armour even more of an accomplishment. The online is golden and the dialogues are fun, I would love the characters to have names though...
FFX
I like the story and characters and the gameplay and the artstyle and the monster and the spells and the grid system and lulu's tits and
I just bought attack on Titan on ps4 and I really like the mobility in the game. Swinging around is fun.
Overwatch
Had no expectations going in, watched some of the (excellent) cinematics, and got my butthole ready for TF3. No regrets, game is beautiful and fun, and if I get bored I switch heroes. About to hit my first prestige, and I'm 2 weeks away from my Fall semester of uni. Beer and Overwatch all night, every night.
euro truck simulator
making a pot of coffee, putting on some music and driving around a shitty low-res europe for a few hours is extremely comfy
I wouldn't say it's harder, it's just a bit different, as you play a character and it's dynasty instead of directly controlling a country. It might be a bit difficult getting everything right at first, but EU4 is the same way.
>I would love the characters to have names though...
They do
Doing certain quests and unlocking awards tells you that the Moga Sweethearts name is Aisha and Guildmarm is named Sophia
I'll pop it on my wishlist, thanks friend.
Listening to podcasts is pretty top tier too.
>put some old Ricky, Steve, and Karl XFM shows on
>laugh so hard I crash a tanker full of cyanide into the central reservation of a Croatian motorway at 90mph
Never put a long sports commentary stream on if you have plans the same day. I've lost half a day by playing that with the cricket or snooker commentary on.
Minecraft; you never know what you're going to get. It's literally a fun little adventure if you give it proper patience and creativity.
I like videogames because they are comfy and easy to play!
Saints Row 1 & 2.
For me, there's no better power fantasy. Drive around. Kill everything. Pull out a rocket launcher and kill it some more.
The relief I can get from that is unmatched. It's not something I'd ever want to do in real life, but like it's not like it's something I could except for in a video game, I really get immersed in the game though. I also appreciate the mission/ activity variety and customization options.
Dead Space 2, it is the best cinematic game in existence.
Good story, good pacing. Great voice acting, seamless transitions between cutscenes and gameplay. Absolutely no loading screens. Good blend of action and horror.
Np mate
Btw Ireland is comfy tutorial island, so play there your first playthrough
What a shitty life
Farcy 3, the storyline is meh, but I find the setting to be gorgeous and I enjoy the gameplay.
Damn senpai. Don't know how I left out that awesome soundtrack.
>Come with me!
>Go check that out!
>Seek and destroy...
>RegroupALL OF YOU
>trolling Sup Forums to make fun of people having fun
Wow nice, your life must be the best. If you ever make it out of mommy's basement I'll be proud son
Sunless Sea
The atmosphere is excellent - the art, music, sound design, lighting, enemy design, and story all add up to a feeling of hopelessness that few games manage to achieve
Gone Home
It's unique.
Superman 64 is also unique
You have no taste in video games.
>youre a guy who flies and fights
>original
No.
>You're a girl who walks home
>original
No.
Remind me all those other games like it.
Wonderful 101
I like the gameplay, the music, the characters and the game just brings me constant joy as I play it, even on harder and more frustrating difficulties. It's one of the few games I still enjoy
Earth Defense Force / 4.1
Manages to keep the same gameplay its always had while adding onto it and increasing it's scale.
It has a huge amount of replay value and adds things into it on all of it's content released.
The dialog is also a plus
name one game that was similar to Superman 64 when it was released
truly it was a great advancement in ring technology
>n-name one u!!
Not playing your game, buddy. Gone Home is a unique video game experience and you can't change that.
Star fox 64.
Superman just copied it. You can't prove me wrong. You even get lasers and can run on foot in it.
Ys OiF. Very satisfying and fast combat with a perfect difficulty curve that doesn't coddle or crush you.
Not him but that was a bad response, and that game is not great. It's actually kind of insulting that Blizz would sell you that. And it's also not better than TF2 which is even more depressing
Bloodborne.
Literally a irrefutable masterpiece. 10/10 in all requirements. Not a single flaw.
I thought it was boring man, I even played with friends and it was still boring. I dunno, I appreciate the Souls series much more. Although I didn't get very far I rekt every person that invaded me with the vanilla axe.
...
Final Fantasy 8.
It's not the best and is broken as fuck but I'm biased purely by nostalgia. I like edgy characters and Squall hit all my sweet spots as a kid. Plus the music is my favorite out of any FF.
Shoot Many Robots.
It's Metal Slug in 3D if it wasn't originally designed to eat all your quarters as fast as possible. You can also unlock a ton of different guns, hats, and outfits that all drastically change gameplay. Levels have a rating system based on how big a combo you can get and for how long; keep it going the whole level and you feel amazing.
Rocket League.
1200 hours in. I'm still not bored yet.
I have so much pure fun playing it, but I also get REALLY goddamn anxious and have to quit after a few rounds or I'll have a fucking heart attack. I think I need a treadmill or something while I play it.
Infamous
Maybe the best Sony exclusive on the ps3 10/10 story and gameplay
this
because its funny
DELET
Mega Man X
Out of all of the best console's library, it's the best game, period.
Man, I'd have to disagree and offer up Super Mario RPG. They're both fantastic though. Good taste user.
Go away Arin
I started Super Mario RPG but haven't finished it yet. It's one of the only big hits I was missing from my SNES library as a kid so I can't really comment on it.
I managed to have Top Gear though, yep good fun all around holy shit FUCK that game.
Dark Souls
The atmosphere and the gameplay are masterpieces.
Meleefag here.
Even if you dislike the competitive scene the game is pure sex, it feels so instinctual to pick up and play even casually.
Skyrim. I find something new on every playthrough. I still find new items and enemies and even missions after playing it for 3 years!
You brave soul
Do yourself a favor and emulate it, you'll have a fucking blast. If you're a fan of Paper Mario then you've got the mother lode of good times coming your way.
Metal Gear Rising
Why? Cutting people is fun, also the final boss battle is epic as fuck
DooM 64
Art design
music is fucking on point
sound design is great
Levels were perfect
monster designs rocked.
Atomosphere cannot be beat.
>If you're a fan of Paper Mario then you've got the mother lode of good times coming your way
Turns out the first two Paper Mario games are favorites of mine, TTYD particularly. Super Mario RPG is definitely on my list of games to buckle down and go through, I will set into it soon.
It's great
Witcher 3
Feels like an actual adventure and I love how shitty everyone is in it.
Shitty like they're realistic with their own flaws, or shitty like sitcoms without a single likeable character and everyone cheats on each other? I already know I don't like Witcher combat mechanics, the story and world are the only things to potentially get me back in.
Jumping Flash 2
Because it's the first 3D game where I felt a real sense of freedom, or the sense of my stomach falling like on a rollercoaster even though I'm just playing a game on a TV.
The worlds and triple-jumping are just amazing.
Best PS1 game hands down.
...
destiny
the gunplay is amazing
i want it for pc but one of the "hidden stats" that guns have is how much auto aim it has, it makes sense for a controller but im not sure how it would work with a mouse
Everyone is just a fucking scumbag in the game so far. they're all desperate because it's war time, or racist and/or a dirty monster who eats children. It's very entertaining and some are likeable . I personally love Geralt, Baron and Yennefer
Would you say it's basically Doom Quake?
Starcraft 2.
Co-op is great.
eat my ass you faggot drake poster
I'm the one who posted about Overwatch. Someone else thought your post was stupid and called you out on it. I was busy playing Overwatch. It's fun.
I know you DMC3&4 babbies won't understand, but I unironically enjoy the combat in this game for what it is. I really need to get around to getting bloodborne because I hear it's more similar to this. The whole action, reaction of the later DMC games is throwed off in comparison, all so you can combo shit.
This. All trollings aside, this was Form Sotware's magnum opus.
Playing through Dark Souls 3 only made me want to go back it and play more Bloodborne. I actually had to force myself to end it, even though I was enjoying it.
I'm still mad that they didn't make a Chalice Dungeon DLC to make the level repetition and layouts less shitty although the bosses were amazing.
Has all the larger than life superstar shit from 3 and 4, while maintaining the gangsterish tone from the first. The comedy and tragedy compliment each other better than any game in the series to date. 9/10 though, because no Protect Tha Pimp.
ChoroQ
The cars are cute and I like fun RPGing with friendly car-people.
Persona 4.
Reminds me of my life and how to deal with it.
Fuck you drake your music sucks and your live performance is an absolute joke
Your life has people around you getting mysteriously killed? You poor fellow.
