Are you suggesting the 3DS has quality games to any extent? It doesn't have one original well done game, and relies on sequel appeal to rehash rather than make something that stands out. Most of the games are just watered down concepts they've already done on consoles or the DS.

Why? My thought on the not-XL was that DS games would look better (or less bad) because of the resolution and it'd be more comfortable for long sessions. And the price is so much lower: 200 for an XL or 150 for a regular with Mario Land.

Literally the only downside is the battery doesn't last quite as long.

I like how my 2DS brushes into my palms and my thumbs rest on the buttons. I'm worried a non-XL won't do that.
