I hope you realize there's a difference between a social gathering and an argument or discussion about a certain hobby in an entire board based around it.
People you're going to meet face to face, at least at first, don't really care what you do with your life so long you fall within obvious moral and social norms. And I'm not really even talking about hobbies or interests, but even things such as life goals and the like, and their first impression will instead be based on how nicely you introduced yourself.

Just don't be a sperg. Or conceal your power level, it's not like one hobby alone makes up the entirety of your interests and conversation topics, right?

I am 32 and have been here for 8 years. When I found this place, the board was full of people in their early 20's. People that loved tits, loved to talk shit on the internet just trying to have a good time.

Now I'm 32, people my age have moved on from gaming yet this place is still filled with people in their early 20's and younger. That still love tits, talking shit and generally trying to have a good time.
