Seems about right except for Portal which wasn't all that good. What is Glitchwave? I'm guessing people voted on this?

What the fuck is glitchwave?

it's an autistic metacritic which any retard can vote

It's the videogame beta of the site rateyourmusic. It will let you make custom charts based on aggregate ratings by its user base as well as letting you contribute ratings and reviews yourself.

These ratings are based on the closed beta.

No one knows when the full site is coming out. It was supposed to happen in april but there have apparently been setbacks.

>Mother 3 #2 best game of all time
Oh for fucks sake. Mother 3's a great game but it's not the #1 best game of all time. Really sick of people sucking the game's dick all the time.

>Postmodernism
That's not a genre of video games.
List is shit anyways, it's literally just Sup Forumscore shit.

Pretty patrish list

Surprisingly good list without shit like Skyrim or Ass Creed.

List isn't too bad, ordering is shit though

>1. Silent Hill 2
>2. Mother 3
Stopped reading here. Shit list; shit taste.

Obviously it's not the best. That'a why it's #2.
Why is Chrono Trigger consistently rated so highly on lists like these? I have played and beaten it. It was definitely better than the average JRPG, but I feel like there must be something I'm missing.

>the only TES game is Morrowind

I mean, that's pretty accurate but it reads like one of our lists. That would never fly with normies.

>59. Undertale (3.87 w/ 127 ratings. Also tops the chart for Absurdist Comedy)

>97. Fallout: New Vegas (3.88 w/ 152 ratings)
>106. Yume Nikki (3.93 w/ 49 ratings. Also tops the chart for Atmospheric Exploration)
>110. Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines (4.00 w/ 42 ratings)

Guys. I just want to give you all a word of caution before you put too much weight into this list.

It's based on a pretty small amount of data points. Currently ~150 ratings is the highest any games go. For both the Film and Music sections of the public RateYourMusic site, most of the top rated albums or movies have 15,000+ reviews.

This is all very early.

I just thought it was an interesting snapshot.

I don't know why this guy is so sad

Here is some data from right fucking now

CAUSE I HAVE AN ACCOUNT

and pic number 2

feel free to ask me a games rating ans sh

>12. Shadow of the Colossus (4.29 w/ 111 ratings)
>45. Planescape: Torment (4.24 w/ 39 ratings)
>53. Katamari Damacy (4.08 w/ 70 ratings. Also tops the charts for Action Puzzle, Rolling Platformer, and Surrealism)
>56. The World Ends With You (4.08 w/ 40 ratings)
>67. Killer7 (4.01 w/ 34 ratings)

>101. Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward (4.21 w/ 23 ratings)
>106. Yume Nikki (3.93 w/ 49 ratings. Also tops the chart for Atmospheric Exploration)

This is a really funky subject group. That said, there's a lot of games in there aboslutely worth mentioning. Most surprising is probably SotC. I know it's a cult classic but that's a really high ranking.

What's the rating for Kotor 2 and is there a page for obsidian?

Snatcher
Zone of the Enders 2: The Second Runner

>Kotor 2
3.99 w/ 39 ratings
#165 all-time

obsidian

What is the full name of this game?

where is oddworld

The only people in the Glitchwave beta are hardcore RYM users. Most hardcore RYM users have a hard-on for having "patrician taste" in all mediums, which is why there is lots of unorthodox shit.

When the site goes public, it'll look far more generic.

Twewy being that high is surprising and pretty based

Obsidian is the developer of Kotor 2, Fallout New Vegas, and Alpha Protocol.

>Snatcher
#216 overall

Zone of the Enders 2: The Second Runner
not in the database

...

You are a saint, user.

I wish I had the beta. Can't wait for it to be launched. I just want to write reviews for all my favorite games.

Happy to keep helping. Really pisses me off that OP posted stats from 2 months ago.

The database is getting larger and larger, so if ANYONE NEEDS ANY GAME PAGES SHOWN TO THEM. I will post them, because OP left a bad taste in my mouth.

pls post bethesda softworks

>bethesda softworks

Spy Fiction and Deadly Premonition.

I hope beta wave two starts soon. I joined RYM recently and like it (though the pretentious community gets on my nerves sometimes), and I think there's a few lesser known games that deserve a bit more recognition.

Can you post the Bioware one of these?

>Spy Fiction

Where's Uncharted 4? And Tearaway? At least The last of us is included.

>Deadly Premonition

>1.5

Who is the antigona of Glitchwave?

Also, are Glitchwave profiles separate from the main site?

At least it isn't some Mario or Zelda game at the top. Sick of seeing that shit on these kinds of lists

>Bioware
no they are the same. The site integrates one profile over 3 sites

>bethesda absolutely btfo by Obsidian
kek

I'm actually surprised there isn't a single Uncharted game on the list.

Anyways, considering the service is currently in beta I'm not surprised the list is mostly hardcore Sup Forums-core type stuff; with a PC/retro-Nintendo focus overall.

What is the Les Rallizes Denudes of Glitchwave?

>So much weaboo shit.

>Ocarina of time and Morrowind aren't even in top 50.

Riven: The Sequel to Myst
Syberia 1
Syberia 2
The Longest Journey
yes I am a faggot for point-and-clicks please fug my inventory slot

Could you do Naughty Dog, the Suikoden Series, and the Xenosaga games?

cept obsidishit showed absolutely nothing. By literally definitions, they did indeed get BTFO.

Uncharted 4 is #131

Tearaway is not on top 1000

The Last of Us is #74

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is at #902
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is at #162
Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception is at #413

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is at #15
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is at #60

Riven is at #109
Syberia is #579
Syberia II not on top 1000
The Longest Journey is at #863
yes give me a second

>Naughty Dog

>Riven is at #109
Yiss

>Suikoden

>Xenosaga

So basically what's going on right now is that the primary Sup Forums audience of RYM obviously were the main people to make it into Glitchwave's beta, and of course voted on Sup Forums taste.

When it goes public expect some MBDTFs and TPABs to get up towards the top...

Thank you. You are truly a god among men.

Do we like Glitchwave threads?

I can start more with more specific topics?

like Pokemon for example

You used three acronyms and I don't know what any of them mean

RateYourMusic
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (baby's first hip hop album)
To Pimp A Butterfly (baby's second hip hop album)

I'm guessing there'll probably be at least one CoD game in the top 100 by the final release.

the more the merrier really, as long as weighted ratings start working, because right now all beta users have the full weight

RYM Rateyourmusic.com (website)

MBDTF My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy by Kanye west (album)

TPAB To Pimp A Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar (album)

Are there any "avant-teen video game" lists yet?

Lists aren't in beta

>the more the merrier really
Yeah it'll definitely be interesting, if cancerous. I always get a chuckle looking at the RYM 100 so I can only imagine what GW's 100 will be, with similar ratings...

Top 10:

>OoT
>Witcher 3
>The Last of Us
>Dark Souls
>Mass Effect 2
>Halo 2
>Some OG Mario, not certain which one
>Metroid Prime
>Uncharted 2
>Skyrim
