So I finally beat Obduction with 3 different endings and I feel like the game ended on a dime rather than explaining what happened, the build up, the other mayors journals that they locked away, etc. It's as if they ran out of time and just said fuck it.
So I finally beat Obduction with 3 different endings and I feel like the game ended on a dime rather than explaining...
>tfw I find out the russian box was a joke puzzle meant to waste your time
i'm not going to read the spoiler but i just want to say that i've been playing the game and i think it's really fun
is it fucking really
How in the fuck do you plug in the big battery? I looked at battery and it looks like the plug hanging off the side is plugged in but I can't find where they plugged it in.
I would've liked to learn more about the other mayors, the plan for synchronized teleportations, why the mofang decided to go murder mode, and what was the teleporter with the scale connected to it. It does seem there was some lack of story polish as far as the ending was concerned, but overall I still liked it.
They did explain the bad end, although not that thoroughly. When you go to the Mofang environment, if you explore far enough, you'll find the environment is actually on earth and the Mofang have already wreaked havoc, so when you go back, there's nothing to go back to.
Overall, I really enjoyed it. It wore a bit near the end with all the teleporting, but I'd give it a 7/10.
Yes, it just falls over when you put in the code. I felt really angry by this considering i wasted lots of time.
C.W. will do it automatically and depending on if you plugged the big one in determines your ending
But how did the Mofang get outside the dome on earth to rekt havoc?
hahah, my god
but it looked like it was connected to that ramp to access the walkway... damn
Wait what? You mean the one hanging off the side? So which ending you get is partially rng then????
>but it looked like it was connected to that ramp to access the walkway... damn
I know right. Then I found out how to progress and felt really dumb
>You mean the one hanging off the side?
No the switch in the grill cover that connects the cables.
>partially rng
you either connect it like he wants or you don't.
Finally an obduction thread.
I just linked all bridges in the jungle. I found a blue laser and shot the red stuff near a seed. Did I fuck up?
It is never a mistake to shoot something with a blue laser.
Thank god. I saw the posters in town warning about the red things and figured it would be best to unload on that sucker but when the machine holding the seed right next to it blew up too I thought I just got myself stuck. Anywho, now I have no idea where to go. I can get into the trees in some areas but they seem to be powered down.
you just turn the water on to all the trees and go back to C.W
is this a walking simulator
There are 4 trees- Hunrath, the stone area, the jungle area, and Mofang. You need to go to the one(s) you haven't watered yet.
Thanks, I'll check back there again. I must be doing something wrong with the water tower by the first tree because the handle valve didn't seem to do anything.
The water tower has to be turned on to water the other trees, you have to get to the base of the tree itself to turn on the water to fill ti tho
How do I get under the Tree near Downtown? So far I have went through some portal thingy that seems to atomize everything in an area and transport it, found some kind of gray canyon with a bunch of rusty equipment and a box in Russian, got it working, couldn't figure out what to do from there, found a second portal out which unblocked the passageway behind the open house in Downtown, but the railroad in the passageway just leads to a dead end under the water tower.
you need to get the code for the top tower access from the mayors + garage to get down by the tree near downtown
as for that railroad you use it to teleport while on the railcart into that new world to vaporize the red gun next to it.
Ah I understand now, ty.
