It's very very simple: Bamco is retarded and they don't know how to bring over Gundam overseas.

PC is not a big gaming platform in Japan. PC ports happen only if the game is already in the west and sometimes even locks out the Japanese players from the Steam store.
For example: new Attack on Titan game is PS4/3/V in Japan but when they localized it they ported it over to Xbone and PC as well.

You can't really gloat about PC not having Gundam games when you yourself need to shill out in order to import them because Japs do not give a shit about wuhaito piggus. All this said the only worthwhile Gundam games as of late were Gundam UC on the PS3 and Full Boost.

japan hardly cares about PC market aside of what they release worldwide, and Gundam basically never leaves JP - so there is no point porting it for handful of JP PC users..

Fights in Gundam rarely work like that, and only in the more violent OVA's like Thunderbolt and 08thMST.

Like the other user said, PC releases are intended for the western market instead of japanese markets. (A lot of japanese games on steam can't be bought in Japan)
