Is there only one slider for graphics? The LOD deal?
The clouds etc looks pretty shit.
how do you get this game to look this good? All I can see is like white dots where the stars are supposed to be and shit never anything like this
I haven't messed with the default settings yet
one thing I noticed is that bringing the magnitude limit down to 6 or 5 looks better to me.
I also used the Eden flare for a couple of screenshots
>universe
>not scary
Is this "my weenus is longer than urs, mom" thread?
Get closer to that black-hole lad.
Any pics with neat looking water planets?
space engine invokes some serious megalophobia in me, no other game can do this
if you want to figure out why then click on a galaxy and press CTRL + G
the only water planets i've found so far were pretty boring
If you spawn a black hole near a planet, will it eat the planet?
Also you're a pussy. You're like this dog I had that wasn't afraid of thunder, but then my other dog who was afraid of thunder trained the non scared dog to start being scared whenever thunder happened.
you can spawn things?
Are you using an old version or something?
I don't see an accretion disk, or any blueshift.
Yeah.
Not all black holes have accretion disks. Many are dormant and have eaten everything around them. Also blueshift isn't realistic in many cases. Light doesn't just go blue near black holes. If anything it would go red because any light between you and the b.hole would be streched out.
it gets scary when you realize its all real.
It gets even worse when you realize that you will never get to see or experience any of it outside of second rate "simulators" because you will be dead long before our technology progresses to that level. That's when the depression and apathy set in.
I'm gonna attempt making some videos with shadowplay recording the entire screen, desktop etc since it doesn't work ingame.
Anyone know how I can hide the UI for the feature when you put all the planets in a system in a row?
...
Black holes make for some really amazing stuff for sure.
true
but i might live long enough to experience it through first rate simulators
>scary
Space is not scary, its exhilerating and sublime, but not scary.
It is for me
>Playing game in space
>Get mild anxiety attack if I fly to close to celestial bodies or out to nowhere
Any one else get this
No mans sky is better then this walking sim
No.
I probably would if there were no ways to get to a specific place and you could really be lost.
You are literally just a pussy.
