Started playing this one after having it sit in my library for ages I don't even remember how it got there
Picked the dual wielding and nature tree and so far it is rather boring. Every special enemy boils down to just chugging potions while holding left click down till it's over. Does that change later on or does it stay like this for the whole game?
It's the most boring ARPG in existence. It doesn't change, ever, the whole game is like that. Just drop it.

>I don't even remember how it got there
Probably the Humble THQ Bundle. That's where I got my copy, and I also started playing it recently.
Joseph Powell
>It doesn't change, ever, the whole game is like that. Ah, fuck that then. Thanks user.
Yeah, I suppose that could be it.
Kayden Collins
>ARPG >not boring
Pick one. Look at PoE. People are playing it through over and over again just to try out different builds or to look for better loot just to shovel it off to others face when their DPS increases by 0.001.
ARPG requires commitment. If you're a norm, leave them and go pack to actual role-playing games.
Henry Taylor
It doesn't get better. The game is boring as fuck and hugely overrated.
Carson White
Souls games.

Most ARPGs have some sense of character progression though or at least force you to evade some skills. But it doesn't do the first and is too sluggish for the second unless you play ranged.

>stop liking what are I don't like
Gabriel Thomas
That's exactly how it's going to be until the end of the game. The same applies for Grim Dawn, the "spiritual sequel".
David Edwards
just run past trough everything. I play it when my connection is off, i have the fondest memories of this game so i can't say it's bad but it gets a bit repetitive after a while. BEFORE YOU DROP IT go back to the starting area and hit one of the enemies there, you'll see why i love this game so much
Brandon Adams
>BEFORE YOU DROP IT go back to the starting area and hit one of the enemies there
nvm just watch this video instead, then you can drop it
Bentley Bailey
>TQ its boring as shit, plus if i remember - there's no random enemies / specials groups, everything remains static
plus skills are just a snoozefest.
hell, if you're wanting to scratch that ARPG itch, just mod some Diablo 2, or tty out some Dungeon Siege 2.
Liam Hall
>muh PoE >muh fixed desync oh fuck off, fuccboi
anything that is online only and not an MMO is inherently cancerous
Jaxon Rodriguez
>shit that literally no one said kill yourself
Adam Walker
>Grim Dawn
That game's story was such a clusterfuck >begins with the war against the aethereals >at some point that Cthulu cult joins >"Well I guess they will be the distraction for this act before it goes back to the main story" >nope >it just stays like that till the end of the game >the original conflict is never really mentioned again or resolved at all
Samuel Peterson
play a brigant, kill everything with poisoned shrapnellarrows
serious question, can a mod turn this into a first person rpg?
Landon Murphy
Not the user, and I loved the game.
But the game gets super linear and boring after few acts, it's still a solid game if you're bored and have nothing to do but don't expect much variety.
I loved the mix-classes thing though

Not familiar with its mods at all, if they exist. But it would look weird as fuck considering sky doesn't exist and FoV had to be adjusted. Not to mention click to move is horrible in third person games
