I am terrible at the entire game, I've never been big into KoF but I really want to learn. I want to learn more than babbys first fightan games. Where should I start? I can do a few of the characters trials with no issues, but the quick activation ones kind of fuck me for some reason.

Someone posted on Lamefaqs a potential assist for the lag problem. Disable sharing when you make a room and look for rooms with it disabled. I could see how it would help

How easy is KOF XIV to get into for someone who hasn't played KOF before?

So far the only fighting games I have for my PS4 are SFV and MKXL, I'm looking into getting something else and this seems like the best option.

You'll find it execution heavy but not as bad as if it was XIII, just fuck around in it for 2 or 3 days and youll be ok

It's the most accessible KOF has ever been.

Give the demo a try. The game features a decent tutorial and has rather limited trials for every character. However pulling off combos is pretty easy and it has a rush combo where you kust mash square for an autocombo with a super at the end

i don't understand why Shun'Ei is red...
KOF 14 is a very different beast mate.
it's easier than KOF 13, but man compared to SFV it's night and day.
the game is so much faster and your execution has to be good and fast and not sloppy.
it's a fun game with a bunch of casual online options and some singleplayer content though.
so it's not like it's not beginner friendly, if you like fighting games and don't mind grinding training mode for hours and hours and days, then KOF 14 will be fine for you.
also THERES A DEMO JUST TRY IT
