Massive, several kilometre long capital space ships. It's tough finding a space sim other than X3 with proper capital ships but I've been playing Battlefleet Gothic: Armada and it's scratching that itch really nicely. If they hadn't butchered the multiplayer this game would be 10/10
hit streaks
Scythes, and snowy environments. Too bad most games don't have Scythes and snow is usually accompanied by slippery shit.
I'm a big fucking sucker for island settings in general, even more so if the game lets me sail to many different islands. Which is why Wind Waker and Link's Awakening are my favorite Zeldas, Black Flag my favorite AC and I'm hype as fuck for Sun/Moon.
>Finally get flight pack in XCX
>Flight to the end of the sea
>There's islands with high level Tyrants and treasures there
Literally the best feeling ever.
Floating islands also count. Squidward Sword was such a disappointment in that way though, I was hype as fuck for Wind Waker: Sky Edition but the sky in that game was fucking empty and all the shitty chunks of rocks they call islands were boring and pointless as fuck, literally zero fucking sense of adventure in them.
Combination attacks make me rock hard.
>Suikoden
>Chrono Trigger
>Mario & Luigi
>Tales of Xillia 1/2
Operating in general, with a lot of people, I mean either real people or characters, something with big battles is amazing to me
proper gunplay
I know it would have been difficult to think of more bros. moves but seeing Mario and Luigi bend and contort and slam their own bodies to perform attacks is so much more fun to watch and satisfying to pull off than the items. They kinda filled the void with Paper Mario in Paper Jam but it still doesn't feel as good as doing Chopper Bros. or Knockback Bros.
bio organic enviroments, and stupid crazy shit like platinum games
cant fucking wait holy shit
Here ya go, OP
youtube.com
Macro combat that allows you to zoom in and control individual troops while European thrash metal plays
levels with northern lights
That was a good theme but I like his HttF theme even more
youtube.com
>attack names
>boss name shows up, and they have a subtitle
>ditties that play throughout the entire series, like the music that plays when you get the master sword in zelda
>4th wall breaking
>bikini armor that is skimpy on both genders
>genre swings during boss fight music
>when a character references an event in the previous installment that the player is responsible for
>boss name shows up, and they have a subtitle
Wild ARMS 2 does this and it's cool as fuck.
>Boss is approaching
>Screen cuts to a red background with the boss' silhouette
>Spooky music plays and their name + title appears
>Battle begins
Excellent sound mixing.
Platinum are the masters of this shit.
Intrumental track plays until you take the upper hand, then BAM lyrics come in and SHIT GOES DOWN
looking forward to Nier: Automata for the same reason
might Be a stretch to accomplish and theres only one level, But check out Bloodourne for that fix
lots of good taste in this thread.
>attack names
Literally the best fucking shit ever

Enjoy OP.
Instead of enemies instantly dying when their health reaches 0, they get progressively more injured as their health goes down
Well designed menus/interfaces, especially in RPG games.
>Spanish guitar or trumpets start playing
youtube.com
Also
>Rival fights in general
>Especially if they're mirror matches
Might be pretty cool in some cases like Sif, but if you do it to every enemy the game just becomes piss easy.
>spanish guitar and trumpets
YES

But it's so much more realistic. On the flip side though, the PC should also start to suffer debilitation if they have been stabbed multiple times
REALLY good sound design or ridiculously over the top sounds that just sound fucking fantastic
> Mfw Elite:Dangerous
I'll only tolerate realism until starts to affect the gameplay. I mean, what if you played a fighting game where damage worked that way?
I'm sure it can depend on the game, but it's not something I'm totally sold on.
abandoned areas that were once lived in just hours ago, normally something you break into and get to sneak around in. Might be the map makers curse where you get really interested in mundane shit like walls and ways that random garbage is arranged on the floor to make an accent on the enviroment
I also like enemies that share a dot whenever they die or come into contact with eachother. Especially if the dot is an explosion that you can trigger with multiple little enemies that all explode killing a much bigger enemy.
Binaural audio and ambiances.
1v1 boss battles where he has a similar moveset to you
mine are post-games , like you take over 60hr to finish the game , credits rolls. "complete 60%"
And then you discover the boss with max stats , max lvl

wait what, Blade has not shit subs now?
Yep. Look up Turn-Up Scrubs.

Completely normal looking or real-life swords in fantasy games
Like Vagrant Story, for example.
Oh and spears, but spears can be anime as fuck and I won't care. I just love them.
My vidya fetish is turn-around animations.
If a game has an animation for when you're running forward, then suddenly press in the other direction, and then leans back to turn around, I can usually spend up to a full minute just darting back and forth just because it looks awesome.
Music in general. So much of it pleases my ear holes.

Being able to dress up as a generic enemy or ally soldier
>Excellent sound mixing
Agree, also
>Pump adrenaline song starts playing in the middle of an important race
>Snow and rain (Specially thick rain)
>Ruins of destroyed buildings.
>Using a pump action shotgun that has good kinestetics and kills almost anything.
Insectoid races with rich culture/history are superb. Bonus points if they are usually hostile but you can work together with them at least for a short time.
>Upgradeable base of operations
Despair.
when you can unlock enemy characters as playable characters
same. a few that come to mind :
Silhouette mirage:

dhalsim's theme in alpha 2

very, VERY long straight corridors
So I'm guessing you loved the Painted World in Dark Souls?
Adrenaline rushes, then sudden calm.
ARMA does this for me with my current regiments favorite game master, but it isnt enough.
>Adrenaline rushes, then sudden calm.
Yes, I'm into this. Especially if the game has an ambient soundtrack that you can't hear over the action, and it creeps back in once everything dies down.
Realism. But not boring kind, the one that helps gameplay and immersion.
>animations for minor things (pushing buttons for open doors, for picking up things)
>realistic inventories (like in Tomb Raider, not like in Resident Evil)
>/k/ tier reloading animations
>non-respawnable destructible enviroments
>shields and auto rechargeable health bars (it's often more realistic than med kits)
Shit like that.
Cave levels, mostly with glowing stuff like in pic related.
What are games with amazing cave levels anyway?
Reload animations and animation in general.
My man
Those are not even good I've seen modders do better

Non-standard settings/abilities in games.
>fire world
>ice world
>grass world
>electric blasts
>psychic energy
Get that shit out of here!
>upside-down computer chip world
>band land
>dessert worlds
>a nationality as an ability a la Yamato Man
>a non-battle oriented concept as an ability a la sheep man
>dog mode
etc etc, the weirder and more interesting the better.
MY BROS!

Also, any game that lets me be an armored holy warrior with light magic and healing abilities. Giving me the choice between a paladin/paladin analogue and a whole lot of other classes is not a choice at all.
just wait for Ariandel DLC in ds3
Dynamic music in general really gets me going.
ALSO: Final boss music that incorperates the main theme. But even just regular boss music that's paced well and swoops in and out of intense moments like this. youtu.be
Chills every fucking time.
Good ragdolls make me excited
Halo2 blew my mind back in the day
>game has collectibles
>the reward for grinding through getting them is a bunch of high quality shit and/or permanent stat boosts
>bolt action rifles
Never used anything other than IEDs and the first sniper you unlock in Far Cry 2. Also you had to unzoom for the bolt action to bolt action which was real neato.
games that allow inventory management. Diablo 2 is one of my favorites.
Procedural animations blending with ragdolls are so satisfying.
kek good one
The Cave.
radio chatter is pretty neat.
War Drums and throat-singing/chants in music
Here's one that incorporates both.

World War II weapons
Have you tried Salt?
I kinda like it.
Hot women as fap material
Boobs, ass and high heels
>Final boss battle
>Remix of the game's title theme
>Posts but ugly characters/models
I remember being 12 years old and having shit taste. I sure am glad I never posted it on the internet.
>Elite:Dangerous
This, i like feeling like i am fighting in a huge army.
>I'm hype as fuck for Sun/Moon.
Educate yourself you dumb cuckold, the use of grammer here is incorrect.
I hope this gets you off inside your pantaloons, OP
Why do you think it's acceptable to post a cartoon penis on a safe for work image board? Do you think it's socially acceptable to have pictures of cartoon men with erect cocks saved on your hard drive?
When it actually gets dark at night/in dungeons and you need to use a light source.
Homemade/jury-rigged weapons
When the protagonist visually looks like they should be an antagonist.
climbing mechanics are my fetish.
Thief's mantling mechanic just works so well.
Over-the-top dragonball z style powerups
Sonic games were always good for this
Final bosses or enemies using core gameplay mechanics after only the hero using them
Water
Thunderstorms. Few games do it well and those that do are top comfy.
Throwing Weapons
Easy ways to go fast
Futuristic city level. Bonus points if the music is high techno shit, which usually is.
Even more points if it's the final level of the game
I wish they did a sound effect or something to hide the terrible skip to a specific part of the boss song, when you go in for the killing blow
I'm a Craftslut!
I'm not talking about minecraft kind of craft, but a monster hunter or a moguri of kh kind of craft
