ITT: Post Indiegames that were actually good

pic very much related

>tedious garbage
>good
lol
M-MUH COMFY

It was also the only good game that came out this year

Super meat boy
You're literally a fun hating faggot if you don't like it

I don't like it.

oh hey this is the thread where we ironically post shitty games right

Rimworld

I don't know man, Undertale is one of the the best games of this generation.

Only good if you mod in fat chicks and furries.

...

Apotheon
Vagante
Nuclear Throne
Downwell
Momodora
Secrets of Grindea

>can only walk cardinal directions
>if you're pressing two directional buttons and you touch an obstruction, the game just fucking stops you instead of moving you the direction you're also holding

It's a simple thing, but it's intensely frustrating.

overrated post

this game was fun. I only played it once and beat it in like 2 or 3 days I think it is time for me to give it another go.

I know this was put here ironically to piss off Sup Forums, but I've actually really enjoyed this game

It's OK

How do people enjoy this game? It's so boring and bland, the gameplay is dogshit. Artstyle and music don't make a good game.

Fuck off Sean

me too. the hivemind is strong though, the majority of the internet is in a rage over it, making people enjoy it less

Hotline Miami
Castle Crashers
Limbo
The Binding of Isaac
Battleblock Theater
Papers Please
Skullgirls
Don't Starve
Minecraft
Octodad
Undertale
Broforce
Nidhogg
Downwell
Yume Nikki

Name more

starbound would have been a great game if it weren't the 1001th minecraft copy

desktop dungeons is worth playing just to read the tooltips, they're genius

I like all of the 'clicker' style games since you can usually find tricks to go a lot faster than you're supposed to

obviously a2mr was far better than it was expected to be, almost nintendo quality

that metroid vania game that was very low res? sorry I can't remember it, it had a lot of outdoor areas

Finally played it after the internet spent 10 months talking about how much they hated it. I liked it. It's unique. Good music. Feelsy story, tons of references to other games or the internet itself. Unless they outright hate the game, anyone who plays is gonna get attached to at least one character.

LIIIISSSSAAAAAAAAAAAA

Do you think $60 was a fair price point?

How about the one that basically founded the indie scene?

I have about 60 hours in it so far. I do really like it, but it feels like a huge chunk of game is missing. $30 would have been much better.

...

No Shovel Knight, the fuck is wrong with (You) people ?

>Yume Nikki
fuck you

What? There were indie games before Cave Story. In fact, most PC games in the 80s and 90s were indie. PC didn't have big publishers until late 90s or so

whats the matter? is it not GNARLY enough for you? only one loadout, right? cant spend ur EA bux on quick boosts?

Nuclear throne is one of my favorites, too bad development has ground to a halt and they're probably never going to make loops reasonable but I got a ton of fun out of it.

>Rimworld
This desu, senpai. I'd rim your world, user-kun.

What kind of prancing homo-man are you?

People don't hate Undertale, they hate the fans.

Because they are giant fucking faggots who smear shit on everything they touch.

That game front loads everything to trick you into thinking it's good when in reality you run out of shit to do real fast.

$30-40 would probably have been more fair, but have no regrets about spending $60 on it

People hate No Man's Sky because the spokefaggot apparently stole one of Peter Molyneux speaches.

If he had just been honest I don't think anyone would of gave a shit. It would of been a 6/10 game that was mildly interesting since everyone's cocks are rock hard about crafting right now.

Agreed, but did the graphics HAVE to be total shit? Are there mods?

...

>speaches
>would of

slow down, user, you're being retarded

But user.
Thats just the fanbase of anything that gets really popular.

Remember, children out number us.

Oh god no.
I like it, but thats because I got it on mine and my cousins ps4 for the price of one, so 30 dollaroos each.
Still 10$ bit too expensive.

>starbound would have been a great game if it weren't the 1001th minecraft copy
>Never played any other then Terrarria and Starbound
Feels good, I can actually enjoy the game.

You're literally a fun hating faggot.

Excellent Taste user
