Anyways, what would Sup Forums do if you slowly lost all vision? Would you savor the time you have left playing video games or would you give it up knowing it'll be easier in the long run?

Sounds like the dude just needs glasses. Happens to a lot of adults in their 30's. My mother never wore glasses, but in her 30's she started to lose vision. Now she wears glasses when she reads or watches television. She hasn't had an issue since.
I'm almost 30 and I already know my hearing is shot. Between clubs, bars, and constant access to headphones I pretty much took a shit on my hearing. Thems the brakes.

Being deaf isn't that bad nowadays. You can get a cochlear implant which regains a sizable percentage of your hearing in one ear. My sister was born deaf and got the implant when she was really young. The only thing you really have to worry about is implant rejection, which she's only just now going through after nearly 20 years. Maybe 20 years from now we'll have something even better, like a smaller device or repair with stem cells, and you could just have your other ear fixed or implanted.
