PS2 Games

I'm looking to emulate some of the better games that can be found on the PS2.

One of them is going to be Predator: Concrete Jungle.

Anything else worth emulating?

I'd already been recommended Shadow of the Colossus, but I've also heard that there are some issues with it.

I made this but it's very old by now. OC the EE for 30fps(if your CPU is strong enough) instead of adjusting the speed of the game like I used to do. Fiddling with the VU may also give you some FPS but it's not a good method.

Other than that the issues are very minimal.

Thanks, I'll give that a try then.

Chulip is cool.

For some other games, keep in mind you can adjust the CRC now in the graphics menu. For some games like Okami, Ico, or MGS3, you can regain effects that were previously only available on the PS2 or in pcsx2's software mode.

Also opengl is typically your best bet.

Shinobi
Tenchu Wrath of Heaven
Fatal Frame
Way of the Samurai 2
Yakuza
Haunting Ground

Fatal Frames work now?

I'm noticing a theme here, user.

god of war

Jap games on a jap system?

There were problems with them?

Samurai/ninja.

What's the best PS2 emulator?

PCSX2 only, no others

Why can't you use google for this shit? I can understand some other console with at least two options, but PCSX2 is the only shit that gets results for ps2 emulation

Extinction is pretty good imo. No skirmish mode though, so you are stuck replaying the same missions over and over

>real time strategy
>on the PS2 and original Xbox

How the fuck does this clusterfuck work?

anyone know if timesplitters future perfect works without issues?

>didn't play Starcraft on the N64

It's baby's first rts for sure. Absolutely no basebuilding or tactics required other than spam the most powerful units, but i still had fun. Can't get it to work on my computer however, so I don't know how it works with a mouse and keyboard.

DOT HACK NIGGA, if you like RPGs and technologically oriented stories, and don't mind early-MMO-esque RPG mechanics

Don't like the look of it though.

>K series
Mah nigga

Shadow of the Colossus is very playable. I completed it with minimal issues (and at increased resolution) in PCSX2 a couple of years ago, and the emulation has only improved since then.

I can understand why the Predators or Xenomorphs wouldn't have any basebuilding done, other than the Hive for the Xenomorphs and the whole laying of the eggs, that's fine with me. But why don't the marines? Are they just like strike teams?

They do setup defensive sentry turrets and have exo suits but yeah, no real building or anything of the sort

Would you say the instructions mentioned in this image still need to be followed?

...

Last bump.

SMT Nocturne

I just got the urge to play this game out of nowhere yesterday and have been going through the marine campaign.
