When PTR changes go live he's not going to be a "shit McRee" anymore. He's much faster and his TTK is insane on all realistic ranges as long as you can aim. Also his ult is actually worth using unlike High Noon most of the time.

Its funny how Blizzard is so exceptional at balancing that they gave Genji's ult 9 seconds and Soldier's 6 seconds, as if Genji's ult melee would be harder to land than Soldier's Visor which gets stopped by almost any hero.

They don't even need to stop it ffs, even a shitty comp against soldier can just tank his ult with enough healing, it's fucking ridiculous, and yet another evidence to Blizzard's incompetent balancing, seeing as they didnt address something so obvious yet.

you aren't balancing against different skill levels, you are balancing against different characters at all skill levels.

so no, that would not indicate that he's perfectly balanced, it would indicate that he's entirely useless at higher levels of play.

ya'll obviously don't play in tight teams. His healing canister and ultimate is enough to wildly set him apart. Sprinting allows him to exit and enter battle faster than Mcree could hope to, and his ultimate has instantaneous payoff that requires no charging and little set-up foresight.

Mcree is great in his own right, but one does not replace the other. Also Mcree tends to cater to fags who want to be lone wolves and run around alone on the map. Soldier is designed for closer team leading.

It's 140 against 170 assuming 100% accuracy and no damage falloff. I find it easier to land 2 shots every second than 10 shots every second, even if it does "less damage"

theoretically its better DPS, but in actuality, assuming you have a mediocre healer, you have to look for HP packs often and with Mccree's low mobility, he has to stay out of fights pretty often whereas soldier can easily run around and self heal to stay in combat. Mccree is only strictly better in high level play where theres always a reliable healer and a reinhardt to hide behind. Soldier is stronger for solo queuing since hes not completely crippled without a team

i like the spraying for sustained dps and helix rocketing for burst dynamic more. pulse rifle is more flexible and allows burst fire in ranged or spraying in close range and helix is huge burst at all ranges when its a direct hit. Mccree's head shot is insanely potent but consistently landing head shots on a slow semi auto is much harder for me and fanning is just a retarded situational gimmick.
