Pretty cool.
Maybe I'll finally play it
It's a great first move. Looking forward to what they have planned for Darksiders.
this is legitimately impressive
>Stuck with non-Steam version
Oh well. Surprised to see them doing anything with it, since the developers have long moved on to Grim Dawn.
Crate said that if whoever bought the IP wanted to do a new Titan Quest then "They only have to call" back when all those IP's were being auctioned off.
Makes a change of Deep Silver fucking ruining Saints Row.
What is Titan Quest even?
Got it from THQs old Humble and didn't get to play it yet. Looks like one of those Diablo style games. Note that i never played Diablo either.
When I first heard that these guys were getting all of the remnants of the THQ IPs, I was kinda worried because they sounded like just a bunch of business men. After reading this short exchange I'm less concerned.
>So, many months ago, we had a conversation in our marketing department which went something like this:

>“Free stuff… I guess. Everyone likes free stuff.”
>“Well then, give them free stuff, for f***’s sake”

Darksiders 3 when?
Can it look at as amazing as the first two without Joe Mad?
It's a diablo style game that takes place in ancient greece, it's pretty good
It is basically a Diablo style game set in Ancient Greece, Egypt, and China.
They'll probably try and get Joe Mad on to give some pointers or consult. They seem to really want to do right by the fanbase.
But Titan Quest was a boring game.
Got a link? I'd like to read more about it.
Joe Mad said if there was a third one. he's in there even if he has to split time between that and Battle Chasers because he loves Darksiders like a child. So you don't worry about that.
Depends if they can get the Vigil Games band back together though.
It's Diablo like setting in a lot of different fantasy settings mainly ancient greece. Stuff like gorgansn and hydra and shit. Can combine any 2 classes together and is pretty fun but grim dawn is basically just a superior version of it gameplaywise. Setting wise it's one of the best in any Diablo like by a far margin though.
Link is in the OP.
I thought Nordic tried to scoop up as many of the Vigil dudes as they could.
Nordic THQ seem to know what people like and so far all things they did were pretty good.
>patched Guild 2 to make it the best version possible
>patched Red Faction Guerrilla and massively improved it in SP and MP
Now only their own new games need to turn out good.
ELEX by the Gothic devs has some potential but the wonky Pre-Alpha footage doesn't tell much. And so far i haven't seen anything on Guild 3.
Apparently they already have like 20 games overall in development - Darksiders 3 is most likely part of that as well.
THIS IS RACIST
Sorry, thought you meant another article.
Never reply to my thread again, unless you're going to contribute.
It's obviously about getting into gamers' good graces, but I don't care. Looking forward to replaying Titan Quest at some point.
They did but some of them are working at Certain Affinity, Retro Studios and Armature while working on shipping games so the band isn't fully back and they would have to wait for the games those studios are on to ship.
Nordic doesn't develop, though. They're a publisher. Re-branding to THQ Nordic was done for recognition and nothing else.
The best ARPG deserved this, this is really good stuff. What a great gesture
I'm more interested in the fact they're working on Darksiders 3.
I don't think there was any implication that they developed. I just said that I feel like they at least know their audience and I'm less concerned now because they seem to at least give some shit. The thread said publisher anyway not developer.
I just wish someone would pick up Throne of Darkness and unlock it from 800x600 resolution, especially with this recent Sierra initiative. Great game that's sadly unplayable on modern monitors.
seems like deep silver ruins everything they touch
I've been in the mood for an aRPG lately, and now this just happens.
Neat.
I wonder if they'll offer the Darksiders remaster the same way and give it for free to owners.

Is it any good?
Is it more diablo? or more WOW?
diablo
I just bought it on steam, better not be a meme it Sup Forums or I'm gonna be pissed
Nordic's been pretty smart, fixing up old games with more care than most publishers, but they've yet to show they've got a good eye for new projects and managing them.
...and why the fuck did they remaster The Legend of Kay? Nobody likes that game.

Kek, that's quite a change from what you read on most Publisher sites
