Neat. Unfortunately TQ has the same issue as Grim Dawn, which is it drags on way too fucking long. Want to bop through areas and enemy types relatively quickly in ARPGs so you're getting more immediate variety. Especially ones that encourage replaying on higher difficulty for better/more loot.

Need to finish grim dawn before trying this new TQ

a lot of those mods I remember only being available thorugh a mostly dead forum using probably dead links

all I used when I played TQ was a Diablo HUD mod (WHO THE FUCK PUTS THOSE BARS IN THE UPPER CORNER OF YOUR SCREEN?) and a camera rotation mod which was usable but occasionally you'd see funny green pins because you were viewing the map from unintended angles.

Maybe I used a vanity mod to give them different skin tones/hair colors, I forget.

would be cool if those things got Workshopped in. Might even download and play the old girl again...sheeet, and I still haven't fucking picked up Grim Dawn.

aw shit I just started a game on Titan Quest Immortal Throne but I was about to restart because Assasin + Defense was boring as fuck since it's just Toggleable passive with no good actives early on.
What do you guys think it's a viable build to finish the game while having fun? like it's mage viable? Since I'd like a class combo with lots of useful active skills and especially some AoE ones because my current build lacks them.

I was also thinking of not exploring the whole map every time like I do now because I ended up overlevelled and it's pretty boring, with enough Nukes/AoE skills shouldn't be as tedious though

Sell TQ to me then. I've played through vanilla and through Soulvizier, both were fucking shit. Grim Dawn has the same fucking issues: nonexistant endgame, awful variety of monster abilities and the game skill system that favors passive status effects over active skills (most of which are fucking garbage). At least PoE has some interesting character builder system based around epics and extensive skill tree. Neither TQ or GD have this.

Sweet merciful god, what a pain. It wasn't so bad if you could fight them on a hill or just bumpy terrain, but if the area was flat it was going to be a long fucking time. They had some life leech attack that would regain lots of health but was super easy to dodge, but when you're in a 10 minutes endurance match, you make mistakes, and fuckin BAM, huge chunk of health regenerated.

Yes, it's technically a Diablo clone, however it is a much better game than what it was trying to copy and easily surpasses it.

Your build is only as boring as you make it.

I tried playing it once, with a passive as shit Dream + Defense shitbuild I made for giggles. Had almost no problems with it until the last boss came and wrecked my face.
Never touched it since, and by extension, never did IT either. Sounds like now is a good time to try it again.

I don't recall being able to swim in skeletons, but the Spirit tree has skeletons.

Hunter tree + Spirit tree class is literally called Bone Charmer. Make of that what you will.

I keep hearing that, but I've only enjoyed like 2 or 3 builds in this game. Builds that actually required a little bit of more skill than pushing a left mouse button and RMB if you're lucky. D3 builds may be too rigid because of the set bonuses, but set has a very distinguishable playstyle, with which you can tamper a little. In TQ and GD most interesting builds are just simply not viable.

Hope they fixed piercing damage. That shit was OP as fuck and running into a room full of archers was suicide without ridiculous pierce resist on the harder difficulties. I cannot imagine playing this one in HC though I play HC in all aRPGs.
