Wondering what the most recent failures in gaming in recent time.

Everyone says BattleBorn. Evolve, No Mans Sky.

Anybody got anything else but these games

Mighty nr9, mgsv

Battlefield 1

Arkham Knight and Wildstar

I can't think of anything that has failed harder than Spore did. The final product was completely different than what was advertised in the years leading up to its release. Just completely, horribly different. Plus a class action lawsuit was spawned out of it over the Securom shit show. Everyone has been bitching about Denuvo but fuck, that is nothing compared to what securom was all about.

If I am wrong, please correct me.

forgot about MN9 lol. Damn man

the consolidation of the industry over the last decade into a handful of publishers that really know how to shovel shit

mgs5 is the biggest one for me. I was really excited for it as a long time mgs fan and from all the trailers and pre-release stuff. I feel like it's pretty big to have such a huge franchise have such a bomb that pretty much sealed its fate.

i was going to post spore too but i dont know much about it. i had thought it did well with all the stuff i heard about it

Battleborn
Evolve
No Man's Sky
Mighty No. 9
MGSV:TPP
Spore

How recent you want OP? This year? This decade?

Is Duke Nukem Forever too far back?

idk about TPP

UDraw Tablet for PS3 and 360. Quite possibly the biggest failure in the past two decades because it tanked THQ. Fucking THQ.

Ouya!

Ehh, v was a clusterfuck, but to say that it was a disaster would be overkill.

No, spore was a disater that cemented EA as a greedy shithole.

>Guys, this new console is gonna be the next big thing!

i'd say about 10 years is good

Define
>failures

Not pictured:Sonygger's sales

Kinect was hilarious. Such a huge push and campaign for what amounted to a 100 dollar "xbox on' microphone'

>removing the barrier between the player and the game

>Milo

>awkward disney kids on stage

>starwars dancing

>getting shoehorned into ea sports and mass effect

>xbox one and kinect are one guize

>plz buy

> we give up

Gen 7 gimmicks were a mess.

ps move
wii mote add-ons
kinect
we draw tablet

i'd like to see how many people got refunds

Akklaim

TORtanic

Kingdoms of Amalur.

Was it that bad? I enjoyed it a little bit. was decent enough gameplay for any other 360 game at the time.

How much could they believably hype it?

Sunset literally sent a company filing for bankruptcy. It was more their stupid expectations than the game, but still.

Steam Controllers failed pretty hard, from what I heard.

Pokemon Go apparently saw a massive drop in user population, but I'm not really following that so have no clue what exactly is going on.

Who else would write "WASH ME" on the back of that?

Mirror's Edge Catalyst

Says the game received positive reviews. I still don't know what happened

Didn't it get a city or whatever into debt?
