How is it too ambitious? they've shown off loads of gameplay and it works well. The concept is simple and has loads of potential.
I'm excited to go exploring other people's dick worlds and creating my own. Only unimaginative people dislike creative games.

Completely FUCKED multiplayer on release that was still laggy and broken about 6 months later.

After playing both versions, it's extremely disappointing. I loved got lbp1 when I was 12, and then played the fuck out of it through middle school, got lbp2 and played the fuck out of it up to lbp3. I have invested at least 3000 hours into lbp in total. And lbp3 added a bunch of new interesting features
But none of that matters when it doesnt fucking work. If you don't have friends to play lbp, you arent getting the full experience. And when you can't get a full experience, it fucking kills it.
Also lbp1 had the best chapters and themes, comfiest goddamn game to ever exist
LBP2 had the best music, and stability, as well as content.
LBP3 did literally nothing right.
