What is the biggest commercial video game flop of 2016 so far? Battleborn?

no mans buy
more returns

Forgot about that. But was it really a commercial failure? Them taking $60 per copy must have resulted in some hefty profits I would imagine.

Every video game release this year flopped and will continue flopping. The video game bubble is about to burst and the industry will crash again. Is that what you want to hear?

Nope just the truth e.g. what the biggest commercial flop this year was so far.

Mighty No. 9 and No Mans Sky might be bad games but they made a profit still so those I don't really care about.

pokemon Go

overwatch fallout 4 regardless of your opinion they sold a lot

>that necklace

I knew it.

If love to say Overwatch and FO4, but unfortunately there's a lot of retards on this planet.

No mans sky, Evolve or Blunderborn by a mile.

Stillborn is certainly a contender with its 600 active player.

>>No mans sky
But it sold well

That Ghostbusters game bankrupted the developer. Granted, exceptions were low to begin with. Then again, I assume one in five indie games bankrupts the developer.

Battleborn is the most mainstream failure.

refunds

There's unconditional refunds now.
The sales figures are for the trash.

I installed battleborn just to be contrarian to overcasual

And before it was even out right? Lel makes me wonder how much they expected to sell.

Feig did call the new movie a billion dollar franchise after all.
Yeah but you bought it for 5 bucks on clearance not full price

I doubt more than 20% wanted a refund if even that

The vidya game industry is going to start dishing out more and more shit tier garbage until all faith is lost and people no longer pre-order. No Man's Sky alone has made me stop from ever pre-ordering another game. If Hello Games isn't held accountable for the blatant lies that Sean told, on national television even... Sweet baby Jesus. Side note, anyone know if a class action would be possible? Nothing makes companies listen more than their wallets being fucked with.

It has been like this for years m8.
I doubt anything will change

yeah, I just got it in that humble bundle

I put 5$ dollars down litterally cant get burned, had 5 down on NMS never picked it up
