It's got a unique and thick atmosphere, I loved it, lots of people did. It's a matter of perspective, though, and it's been what, 25 years or so now, since it was filmed?

It'll obviously have a different impact on people who watch it now. Lots of concepts that might have been new back then, aren't really that thrilling anymore to people that have seen it all.

E.g., over-arcing mystery story with weird, seemingly unexplainable shit going on - that alone wouldn't make a TV series special nowadays.

Twin Peaks have great ending, Coop on mirror with BOB is most haunting thing in the show.

When they try to explore things visually (basically everything Lynch directed and some other chapters) it's pretty great out of its general talent. After that it's an overblown soap opera that forgets what made itself good. Hope third season will be good.

I've just watched it a month ago for the first time.
Was really enjoying the first season and part of the second one up until they've revealed who the "killer" was because apparently faggots demanded that they do it despite Lynch not wanting to.
It just ruined everything. Second half was like a different show.
