3D is hardly flawless, the eye tracker cam is slow so you still need to keep it still as it takes a second or two to readjust giving blurry double images any time you move.

You also still need to hold the screen at a certain distance otherwise again youll get double vision

If you have big hands, XL gives you less cramps than the regular model after a few hours of playing

At this point I have an o3ds, an LL and an XL. Out of all of them I prefer the XL because I like big screens, but I can't take it out of the house without a bag or an uncomfortable weight banging around a shorts pocket messing with my balance.

Ironically my gf has the LL and carries a purse around all the time, but she has small hands so she prefers the LL. When I want to game on the go I just take a GB Micro, or when out with her, saddle her with the xl and stick it in her purse.

The DSi XL is the best way to play DS games but otherwise the DSi was entirely pointless.

I wouldn't say far better. Monster Hunter has like an extra layer of bump mapping and textures but that's about it. You'd have to see them side by side to tell thr difference. However the difference in load times and framerate is easily notable.

I just don't know if the games I actually play (mostly JRPGs and shitty platformers) would see any actual benefit from the upgrade, but it's not seeming like it. From everything i've seen online and read it only really effects monhun and the zelda musou.

The only reason why I'd get one over a 2ds is because you can play Xenoblade Chronicles X on it and I really don't wanna buy a wiiu

I just installed the new arm9loaderhax on my o3ds , no more need for emulators, i just download the cia's. Never used my 3ds so much as now.

Might just be your 3DS. I have a N3DS and a N3DS XL, and the XL has issues when I use the 3D. Even keeping it still, I get double images in games with simple 3D like Kirby. I have no such issues with my N3DS though. It works flawlessly.

All the current faceplate are shit and no new ones planned. It's a wasted buy unless you like SNES buttons.

I've never had a ds or 3ds before. But I'm getting the new 3ds in a couple of weeks for my bday.

I can't wait.

Third parties have some alright ones.

Some games run better and you get the SNES virtual console. That's about it.
