Also is the graveyard mission actually possible?
this game always reminds me there probably is scenes just like this that i don't care to find, like an ultra autism sub-niche of goths, that make "vampire-themed" music and shit. probably student's night at a S&M club looks like a scene from VtM.
There is a red star in the night sky. The blood of mortals and the blood of ages all will be consumed.
They are coming.
I LOST MY SOULD TO BLOODLINES
youtube.com
What do you mean by "possible", user? The one you get in that shed?
Yeah, all you have to do is just get the guy a hooker, it's not worth it
This. I blew it the first time I took the quest (with like only 2 seconds left on timer) and it autosaved right away. I don't know if I should try again in my second playthrough or just don't bother to begin with.
>want to do another playthrough
>realise that I know the game by heart and there's nothing new to explore or experience
truly one of the worst feelings
UNAWARE OF WHAT'S OUTSIDE
>played through the game 3 times
>didn't try Malkavian yet
gonna reinstall around Halloween, this gonna be gud
I did it no problem during my mele Malk playthrough but fucked it up with every other build. I guess it's doable if you build up your character in the right way.
Paradox have got Obsidian working on a sequel
Right?
shit game
Shit person.
Is it true that Gangrels can get celerity from Beckett thanks to one of the newer patches?
Yes, of course.
Nice ad hominem
Guys I've got a bug in Hell at the Hallowbrook Hotel mission where Tremere mage suppose to show up, but he just didn't. There is only flying orb and nothing behind him. How do I fix this?
9.5 broke some things, install 9.6 from ModDB. It will work even if you have the newest GOG one that has 9.5 already inside, no need to uninstall/reinstall.
i think that is the point of his post
I didn't mean as a glitch, I read that he will teach a Gangrels PC Celerity under if they have at least 3 in the other bloodline disciplines.
What a terrible mission. No fun at all. Just skip and he will give you another quest.
>All this butthurt
Celerity makes it ez
reload a previous save?
you're using the unofficial patch right?
spamming blood salvo as tremere was pretty ez
Yup. 9.6 with a plus patch, but I still got a lot of bugs, like that bug in previous mission where the ending just doesn't trigger and don't teleport me in Downtown, so I fixed it through console commands. So weird...
Toreador > * > Nosferatu
>new Vampire AAA title announced
>it's an isometric rpg
What title? You mean Vampyr? Isn't that an action-RPG in the vein of DS? Or did I miss something.
This is genuinely a mission that everybody fails at least once because there is no fucking hope of beating it unless you know its coming.
>First 3-5 hours
>Conversations, social skills, subtly
>Only fights are boss or mini-boss battles against single targets
>Even some of those were a bit difficult
>80% of your points have gone to social skills because that's all you've needed so far
>Graveyard Smash out of nowhere
And that's just priming you for the fucking sewer level.
Someone explain this shit to me, because I suck dick at Tremere.
That shit always seems to do fuck all for damage, forces you to stand still for a century to get your blood back and then you still end up with less blood because you fired one too many.
How are you supposed to spam that?
No story spoilers, but Malk is absurd for combat later in the game if you load points into melee+invisibility.
i just want to say FUCK YOU to Sup Forums for making me think this game was awesome for all these years.
it's not fucking awesome. ~_~
A ton of things make it easy; 2-3 points in melee with a fireaxe, a few points in guns with a shotgun or pistol. Any focus in area-effect spells.
The problem is nobody fucking sees it coming and by the time you get there, almost nobody is properly spec'd for the combat required of you there.
The music in the game is so late 90s and early 00s I want to puke
Good or bad, there's simply nothing like it out there. Set in a stylized version of early '00s, plot-heavy, great character developpment, cool music.
oh yeah, it's total shit, especially that song in the club shown in OP's pic. it's embarrassingly bad.
Am I remembering wrong, or is this quest not in the final hub of the game? This is the same hub you fight a gargoyle in and have already trudged through the sewers for is it not? How have you not thought to invest in any combat yet?
Cool, now tell us your favourite artists.
lmfao like i'd make myself vulnerable to your punk ass.
rest assured my taste in music is god tier.
was this foreshadowing?
So you are obviously insecure and your opinion should be disregarded. Thanks.
The cemetery missions is in Hollywood and the game is relatively easy up until that point
Stop replying to that clown, Bloodlines threads nowadays always have at least one shitposter baiting for replies.
I forget, is Chinatown after Hollywood? Still that's 3/4 through the game and there have been multiple bosses leading up to that point. It's no ones fault but your own if you have complained neglected combat skills.
ah shit, you checkmated me with your superior psychology. how'd you do it?
tell me your favorite artists, and i'll tell you mine. i wanna see what kind of shitty music VtM:B fans like.
i bet it's Sup Forums shit.
But it fits. The only thing more fitting would be some old visual kei shit.
>Stop replying to that clown, Bloodlines threads nowadays always have at least one shitposter baiting for replies.
all these feelings and you choose to be butthurt :o)
Chinatown comes after, yeah.
There really aren't any challenging enemy encounters till the cemetery quest / hollywood sewers. I remember breezing through the game on my first playthrough, playing a toreador with maybe 1-2 points in brawling and the rest in stuff like computers, speech, seduction. Until I got to the sewers and proceeded to get my shit pushed in for a solid hour.
I found Brother Cletus tougher than the sewer shits, so I just don't get it.
The Sewers aren't hard, just tedious as fuck with little ammo or blood to get around (unless you go back up to the surface the only two times you can).
It's a precursor for the rest of the fucking game, which is just a shitton more fighting and no talking. A fucking shame.
Doesn't Jack says to learn how to fight? Why do so many people tend to forget that?
It's actually Nines, but the game tries to make it pretty clear that you'll need to invest in combat disciplines.
Oh god, I always forget about Ming Xiao's temple. As if the sewers wasn't enough.
It's because the first half of the game is a mixture of fighting and talking to get where you want to go. It's only in Hollywood that you'll get stretches of enemies you'll need to defeat, with the last mission(s) being gauntlet-worthy.
At that point, it's about time you learn how the combat-system works - because you can't even sneak past/sneak-kill half the enemies you encounter anymore
I hate LaCroix tower even more - with your enemies being bastarding Ventrue with machine guns that you can't even leech blood from. At least in Ming Xiao's place you can drain everything.
Unless you're a malk or nos
