Who remembers this game?
Scribblenauts - Best game ever?
I do
I played this yesterday
...
aren't they still making them
Used to play it a lot on moble. Did start with it on DS though.
...
Newest one mobile Scribblenauts was cancelled and they had a load of lay offs.
that's a shame. I really loved this game and its sequels and there is still loads more they could do with the idea
>Load of lay off
The whole company went under
Good thing i say, it was yet another "YOU CAN DO EVERYTHING" game that didn't deliver what it promised
Unlimited made me love video games again.
They need to make a mature/adult rated version.
Sort of like how Cards Against Humanity is to Apples to Apples
there were lots of layoffs but the company itself does still exist, albiet with a 'tiny' amount of its remaining staff still employed
chances are though there will never be another scribblenauts
an adult scribblenauts would be amazing, especially if they added in more characters from other brands like star wars and doctor who
I was replaying Super Scribblenauts a week or so ago.
I refuse to play Unlimited because they took out the level builder.
depends on how adult they want it, whether it's pop culture bait or a Saint's Row esque "lol random dildo weapons"
Didn't they have a DC crossover? I think they have the level builder there.
instead of making this they should have gone back and fixed the Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter ending.
Sup Forums was so fucking hyped for this game back in the day.
Then it came out and was forgotten a week later.
They kinda fixed it already.
Lookup the drawn to life ds collection.
Also, i do wonder what that fighting words game would be about?
Honestly it's a pretty childish game, they claim that there are endless possibilities but a lot of adjectives will spawn the same item, and the actual items you can make are limited.

I love Scribblenauts.
I play it every now and then just to fuck around.
WOT.
I loved the action stages but the controls were really shit
Then the sequel came and made the controls good but the action stages were almost non-existent and most of the puzzles were "write something in the same category of the stuff here" which felt more like kindergarten exercises
Then Unlimited came and action stages died altogether and you can't even interact with the terrain
wtf that's super racist!
Unlimited has a pony character I believe
Yeah, unlimited has a lot of mlp references in its characters.
The most notable is scratch, one of maxwells brothers.
Many of the created people has lesser similarities but some are still there.
Infact some of the similarities were so blatant that the artists were forced to alter them to not be that noticeable.
plus I think PC has the Valve workshop so, like Skyrim, they have workarounds to any fandom whether it's from that cartoon or any other show.
