>Silent Hill 2
Yeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaa...no.
A bit of a stretch that one.
>I need some emotional games in my life, recommend some.
There aren't really any.
Heavy Rain I guess?
Buy a shit game at full modern retail price. You will FEEL
LISA is the only game that made me tear up, especially the DLC. It's fun if you can get into it.
Telltale's TWD
Only Season 1, tho
Anyone else see those onion ninjas?!
Fucking Thai insurance commercials.
Could you explain to me why The Last of Us was emotional to you?
To me it seemed very cookie-cutter "drama" that took no risks whatsoever.
games are not art and not meant to have emotions in it
This, season 2 was a crock of shit
silent hill 2
But.... how could you say that? J-Just look at her!
This. Man what an emotional wreck that was.
An easy 200 years of human progression through rhe arts passed by creating some of the greatest films, books, paintings, plays and who knows what else theres so many mediums
And you want to play a game similar to one about hugging anthro goats
The Walking Dead Season 1
Yakuza 3
Comix Zone if you fuck up during the last boss fight
This would work better with an acctual people, as in, white people. How am I supposed to feel bad about gooks dying? They don't even have soul.
Persona 3
What did he mean by this?
Do you need the FEEL right now Sup Forums?
Tell me, do you?
How's so? And TLOU is somehow a superior masterpiece to ya?
Since SH2 has been mentioned so many times now, lemme leave this latest SH PC Guide + the DL to entire original series links here:

Mount the ISOs of 2 & 3, and then run their installers like always.
The SH1 is a PS1 rip that you gotta emulate.
The "sh2proxy" is a all-in-one fix, that works as a no-cd crack as well. It is included in the pack.
If you use the NEW fix mentioned in the guide, you can use the sh2proxy's EXE as the no-cd crack!
In case you experience issues saving the game / not being able to edit the disp.ini, make sure the files aren't set to "Read Only", and run the game as Administrator.
If SH2 gets stuck in a black screen upon launch, close it and re-start it again.
SH2-4 do not support Xinput gamepads. Either use Xpadder, a DirectInput pad, or just play with KB+M.
here's the recommended emulator settings for SH1. Works great on all other games too.
The plugins used are:
-Pete's OpenGL 1.78; (more options & better performance than 2.x version)
-Eternal's SPU Engine.
alternatively just use a software renderer for very 1:1 PS1-like graphics, including 240p only.
...OR just buy the game from PSN Store for few bucks.
You could also try the new PGXP emulator, that adds Perspective Correction to PS1 textures.
Some people like that
Unironically New Vegas with all the expansions.
the thing about season 1 is that they put you there as Lee to be the figure that watches over her
in season 2 youre clem so the role switch made it feel like youre less emotionally invested on her
Fair enough.
fucking onion ninjas
What the fuck man?

Fucking liars, am I right?
Brothers in Arms series
It's essentially Band of Brothers the game.
It's a travesty that there's no sequel/ending to the series, but with the current state of gearbox I don't want one.
>Most polite conversation on Sup Forums right now
Fuck you
>lies about having a job
>shows him have like 5 jobs
good voice acting, animation, and writing that make them feel like real people
It's obviously only a temporary job, like for a day or a week or something. No secure, steady income, always at risk of getting nothing.
To the Moon!
>western """"""""""emotional"""""""""" commercials
White people love their gore.
I agree on the VA and animation, but the writing put me off.
Those people didn't speak like real people, they spoke like Hollywood thinks people talk.
didn't get me at all until literally the last 3 lines fucking christ.
>there are no perfect fathers
>but a father will always love perfectly
>take care of those who take care of you
Just fuck me up sempai. Murder me sempai. PLZ
>good VA
>good writing
you people serious?
I just got TLOU last month, since it was a fiver in a local fleamarket, and the first thing I noticed was god awful acting and generic as fuck story. Gameplay was from arse too.
I remember that song from a videogame.
>Lonely old man kills a bunch of people so he can have his replacement daughter, then lies to her about it because he'd rather have some semblance of a happy family instead of possibly saving humanity.
I dunno, I wouldn't call that "cookie cutter." But more so, the characters are well-written and believable. Even if the zombie apocalypse setting is overdone, it's executed well.
Not sure why you picked out that over MGS3, which is much more poorly written and absurd in comparison.
LISA
>Western """emotional""" games.

PSSSH, SORRY MARIA
*crabwalks away*
Fuck
>Not sure why you picked out that over MGS3
Because I didn't play that.
Anyway, by cookie-cutter I meant predictable.
>entire sequence at the beginning of the game about Joel loving his daughter
Gee Billy, I wonder if she dies?
It's been a while since I've played it, but I remember plenty of sequences like that.
For some reason, this had me kekking.
I'm gonna get shit for this but
Life Is Strange is alright imo
>Heavy Rain
He asked for games not interactive movies.
Mother 3.
The intro to it was some real tear jerking stuff, I legitimately felt sad thanks to it.
The gameplay was boring, the DeviantArt jokey dialogue of the scientists can get annoying at times, and it's short as hell, but goddamn that core story is good.
Man, getting a barrage of these commercials on Thai TV must be cringe-inducing after a while. Hell, they don't even go over offers or benefits from those insurance companies!
Shadow of the Colossus
DO YOU EVER SLEEP? JESUS CHRIST user
DO YOU HAVE AN ALERT SET UP TO INFORM YOU WHENEVER SOMEONE MENTIONS SILENT HILL OR SOMETHING
Asura´s Wrath is pretty feels tier
also LiS
SOMA.
The Cat Lady is top notch, if you can do point n click adventures
In which case, The Longest Journey (Dreamfall is solid too)
The Deus Ex series has it's moments, as do the Troika classics Arcanum and Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines.
Pathologic is great if you can do, uh, frustration and bleakness
Wolf Among Us is great if you can do telltale style games
And if we're going Silent Hill era stuff, Rule of Rose
