I understand. Remember when TS4 was a thing, then it wasn't, then it might, then it wasn't.

I remember seeing a video of a guy retexturing the Training Ground mission in a fan project but haven't heard anything since.

Whatever happened to the fan remake/sequel? I heard a lot about it at one point but I've not seen anything in a long time

going slow as fuck

youtube.com/watch?v=dNbQQG4P4Q4 They're still doing stuff. Seems to be at a snails pace though.

Shake your money maker

Thanks but I sas talking about playing on the original console.

would a game like timesplitters be successful in todays world???

A cartoony, comedic shooter is possible in today's world as evidenced by Overwatch. The humor of TimeSplitters would probably be hard pressed to survive today's thin-skinned, PC culture, and that's the sad truth.

Are you really comparing my beloved TS to that bland piece of garbage? Stop it.

>Remember playing Timesplitters 2 with friend offline multiplayer matches

There is always the Monkey with the magnum and I distinctively remember all the characters doing a side sway whenever they stop to shoot at you.

I'm just pointing out that a cartoony aesthetic is still wholly viable in today's world, I've never even played Overwatch, TF2 would probably be a better example, but the original vision and art style's been fucked to hell and back.

>Time to split!
What did he mean by this?

I was always mad because CPU's did shit like dodge rolls and could peak around corners to shoot at you while you couldn't, also things like virus where the CPU's all knew where you were so they'd end up forming a big green flaming conga line to chase after you.

Abusing the figure 8 you could use to avoid the virus CPU's on the nightclub map in that one TS2 challenge was almost as fun as hiding out in the morgues bathroom with a buddy and dual wielding tommy guns, seeing how long your could hold down the room before getting overwhelmed.

>tfw I can still remember playing Future Perfect in splitscreen with my friends at my birthday party over a decade ago
>we all crowded round my tiny fucking TV but still had tons of fun

Spread your knees and say please

Backlash against said humor would only drive the publicity further. I wish they would go for it.

spirtual successor when???

>using mapmaker to make a big open field with a bunker at one end
>fending off the virus bot menace

Vamanos
