You cant group sonic 3 and knuckles together. Its an insult to sonic 3. Knuckles was done by filthy gaijins and it showed

The game saves at the start of every act, so if you do miss a time machine you can easily just start the stage over. The same applies to special stages, if you run out of time you can restart the special stage to try again at the cost of lives.

I don't think it's impossible at all, playing CD 2011 was my first time getting a good ending in CD and I did it without guides. The only thing I used guides for was achievements like the angel statue.

I used to think Sonic games were bad (at the time having played Sonic 1, Adventure, Adventure 2, and Shadow the Hedgehog), but then I played Sonic CD and Sonic Generations and realized that good Sonic games do exist.

The level design, art design, and music in a lot of Sonic games is boring, but CD and Generations hit all the right spots
