I can understand loving the game's tired formula, therefore spending hundreds upon hundreds of hours on it, but I don't understand how it's an improvement of anything in any facet. To me Skyrim's constituents are mediocre at the very bast and laughable when compared to games that focus on those aspects. What results from the sum of those parts is a few hundred hours of "meh".
I hate him.
Joe's review is accurate for the time but sadly Skyrim was outclassed by almost every other RPG that came out like months later. It's shallowness took a while to sink in.
